Rating: Summary: My favorite of the Night World series! Review: I couldn't take my eyes away from this book for a moment. It kept me guessing and in suspense all the way through to the end. After reading Soulmate I vowed to myself to buy every other book in the Night World series. I own all but two and am trying my hardest to retreive them. Soulmate is by far my favorite!
Rating: Summary: Soppy Soulmates! Review: I must say that this book isn't as great as the rest of L.J. Smith's books. The rest of her books are really cool. I would have given this book only 2 stars if it hadn't been the reunion of the previous characters in the Night World series. It was very satisfying to be reminded of them again. The characters in this book were kind of boring and they didn't have much personality, but Lupe the werewolf is okay. I'm really surprised that other people thought it was so fantastic. My advice is to read the other Night World books first because this one is a let down. But finally, I'd just like to say that L.J. Smith is a really brilliant author and everyone should read her books!
Rating: Summary: Very Sweet but Kinda Sad Review: I have ALL of LJ Smith's book from this series and the Forbidden Game series. I have to say, I enjoy all of her books very much. I'm not the type of person whois big on supernatural books but this series was very addicting. I did not find ANYTHING corny or old, at all. This is one of many books I love to read over and over again. I loved how she brought out the history and I think it's really amusing and neat that she brought back the characters from her other stories unlike any other authors. I could definitely understand the logic behind Maya's hatred and the book really explained that in the end, so to the people who didn't think that was very realistic you OBVIOUSLY weren't paying attention. Jealousy can do that to people. It made me feel sorry for Maya. The one thing I didn't understand is, If Thierry is lord of the Night World and has a human soulmate, that why in the heck would he punish other people for it? I did love this book though. I would recommend the Forbidden game series. I have to warn it's very sad.
Rating: Summary: Will Hannah live past 17 ? Review: Hannah has never lived past 17. Even thought she has been re-born countless times, she has never lived to see her 17th birthday. And Theirry has spent so many years waiting for the time when thay can be together. Because Hannah is his Soulmate. This book is one no one should miss!
Rating: Summary: Will she die befor she turnes seventeen? Review: She's a human. He's a vampire who is Lord of the Nightworld. He also killed her in her first life time. Now she is finally alive again. Will they find each other again? Read this beautiful yet kind of sad book. A perfect story.
Rating: Summary: So Cool! Review: When Hannah starts find notes that warn her of some coming danger, she thinks she's crazy. But she then finds out about the nightworld and that she is an 'old soul'. And she finds out that she has a soulmate (Thierry). I liked this book because, throughout the whole thing, you learn peice by peice about Hannah's, Theiry's, Maya's, and a lot of the nightworld's, history. It is also very romantic. I think Thierry sounds so cute and sweet (if only more real boys could be like that!)!
Rating: Summary: L.J. Smith not up to standard Review: Sorry, I am going to have to disagree with the majority of people and say that this L.J Smith book just seemed to miss the mark. Introducing Maya, the first of the vampires and sister of Hellewise, as an actually participating villan was fantasic. She does a very successful job of manipulating Hannah, a girl who has had many lives throughout the ages, into believing her soulmate Theirry is out to kill her. Maya's motive: she wants Theirry, the first made vampire, for herself. Unfortuanalty a couple things really got to me. Firstly, CAVE WOMAN HANNAH was just to CORNY for my taste and the historical facts so FLAWED that I alsmost through the book down the toilet! Theirry too really got to me. For Lord of Circle Daybreak he sure strikes me as being a drip with little backbone. Also, the length of time it took Hannah to realise that Theirry is there to protect and not kill her seemed less suspensful and more frustrating. This book is saved though, just barely, by the short appearance of ASH ( the most realcurring character, perhaps he has a bigger role to eventually play) and the ending which I will admitt was one of the best in the seris( without this it would have scored a 2 star). Still not up to my opinion of Smiths usually 10/10 standard.
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: i loved this book! it was interesting learning about hannah's, theirry's, and even maya's history, piece by piece. and i'm glad miss smith brought back ash (he's so cool!), james and poppy, and quinn and rachel. i recommend this book to anyone who likes romance.
Rating: Summary: An exciting, thrilling book. Review: This was the first Night World book I read, and it got me hooked. Hanna was a young girl in a prehistoric clan. She was killed by a vampire, Thierry, who didn't realize she was his one true love - his soulmate - until it was too late. Desperate, he asked a witch for help. Now, thousands of years later, 16-year-old Hannah Snow learns she is the latest reincarnation of Hanna. But Thierry's mortal enemy - the one who made him a vampire so long ago - wants to kill Hannah, and it may be that not even a powerful vampire's love can save her. She may need to save herself. This was an exciting, thrilling book that I really enjoyed and highly reccomend to teen horror fans.
Rating: Summary: The bigger picture Review: This book seemed to switch the night world books into a bigger gear than just soulmates meet, nightworld has rules, two people in love and in trouble. I simply love the history of the nightworld brought forth. You really get to learn a lot and the things about it just seem to come together. The only negetive I found was that I didn't exactly Hannah the most pleasant character, but for the plot it in in, she's definetly the character Smith needed. She seems a lot older than any of the other characters. I mean, she wasn't all that bad of a character either. Her trying to help out Theiry even in fear really made the book seem all the better. Definetly another good read in this series.
