Rating: Summary: Sparking Review: With her ever-enduring efforts to make her work realistic, Klause has created a small collection of masterpieces. However, this is my least favorite. I do not recommend this to any of the following people: Anyone who does not like vampires much. Anyone who doesn't enjoy the building up to a plot. Anyone who can't handle a not-so-happy ending. However, it is a very good book, and for anybody else, I strongly urge you to read this book!
Rating: Summary: Best Vampire Book Review: This is the best vampire book I have ever read. I really got into the story not wanting to put the book down. It is not only a vampire book. But it is somewhat of a vampire love story. And plus the ending is not what you would expect.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK Review: I've read this book before but, I'm re'readind it right know. I think its the best book. I like books like this with vampires ,wiches wizzerds, and aliens.so if you like vampires, romance, and revenge. Then you will love this book!
Rating: Summary: Never Forgotten Review: I read this book when I was in High School. Twice. That happens to be over 7 years ago. I still love this book. The characters are realistic and the plot is heartbreaking. I cried both times I read this book and to this day still remember it fondly. If you are looking for a good horror/romance book, this is a definate must read!!!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Reading! Review: Hi, ... I'm thirteen. The school I go to is a school for the blind. So I read stories in Braille or tape. So one day I picked a tape book called The Silver Kiss. I thought the story was interesting. Different parts of the story made me feel different. Like some parts made me sad, mad, and happy. The story made me see another side of love. First, thing is that the weirdest things can happen, especially when you least expect it. The second thing,is it's wonderful to love someone. But be careful, because love doesn't always turns into a happy ending.
Rating: Summary: Really Cool Horror/Romance/Tragedy Review: This book was just one of those typical boy meets girl/girl likes boy/boy is some supernatural being/the end is sad. I admit I cried a bit when I read the ending because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to but books like this always turn out in sad ways. If you have ever read THE CHANGEOVER (by Margarat Mahy), LOOK FOR ME BY MOONLIGHT(by Mary Downing Hahn), or BLOOD AND CHOCHOLATE(by Anette Kurtis Klause) you will love this book. Or if you read this book and you liked it I would reccomend reading those books I mentioned. They are all great books and I read them all several times over and over and over again. This truly was a cool book and I'm sure if you like books like this one you will like it.(did that make any sense?) ANYWAYS:READ IT!
Rating: Summary: What's so great about it? Review: What's so great about this book? It was boring, confusing, and the characters were unrealistic. I admit, I did have to read this for school, (summer reading list, that's why it's number one here in Hollister; how sad that that's the number one book, and we HAVE to read it, proves just how dumb people in our town are.) I finished it in day, and I was disappointed. Really, I'm a big fan of the romantic/horror genre, but this does not have the same sort of material as L. J. Smith's Night World. It is original, but Klause really changes a lot about the vampire myth, and Simon's evil brother, trapped in the body of a child, is just weird. (Though scary if the idea of evil children freaks you out.) For some people, this might be a good book, but for the rest of us . . . . .
Rating: Summary: Let me be part of the story! Review: I had just finished this book like 10 minutes ago and I amstill numb... I really love this book. It not only deals withVampire and love(which i like), it also dealt with lonliness and people's emotional strength. If there was no school, i would had finished it in one day, but i had to go so it took me 2 days. This goes to show how i can't put it down. The story doesn't drag and drag like some books. I wanted to be part of it so badly...I wanted to be sucked into the book and be Zoe (i didn't say i want my mom to have cancer). To have met someone like Simon would have been wonderful. ::sign:: I can totally relate. A very touching story...to me anyway. *~~^{Faith}^~~* (<>..~*)
Rating: Summary: This book is the BEST book EVER written! Review: I read this book and I loved it! It was extremely well written! I couldnt put the book down! I was reading it in ALL of my classes! And I almost got detention! Belive me, I'm a hard to please book reader! I Finished it the same day I borrowed it from the library! This is a MUST read!
Rating: Summary: Lost In Words... Review: In my opinion, I felt as though this was one of the most interesting books I've ever read. With each turn of a page, you were drawn more and more into this book. This book for me was like a drug, for I couldn't get enough of it. To tell the truth, I read the book 5 times without stopping. This is a book that will leave you at a lost from what may be taking place in your life at the time. For, when I read the book the first time, I had actually felt like I was apart of the story. Anyway, I just felt that this was a spine tingling book, and I would give it a superior !
