Summary: Annette Curtis Klause's 'The Silver Kiss'
Review: Okay, I started this one out with high hopes. I'm a big vampire fan, so I was really looking forward to this book. It kind of dragged a bit and the end was a total let down. I expected a bit more from a vampire book.

Summary: A must read for teens
Review: I just finished reading this book and am glad i read it in the first place. Check out my review i'' give u details on this slammin book.

Zoe is worried cuz her mom is dying from cancer and her father is ignoring her. Her best friend is moving to oregon and her life is miserable. She wants to visit her mom but her father won't let her. She can't stand that her mom is dying and wishes for a miracle to happen. Simon is a young man who is also a vampire seeking revenge. His own brother Christopher, killed their mom three hundred years ago. Simon has tried to kill him buts it seems chris is traveling everywhere, killing, he's a vampire too. Chris is killing young women. Simon follows but is too cowardish to face him. oh and Christopher is a six year old boy. Years ago he was the older brother to simon, simon was a baby, and chris was kidnapped by a vampire who later killed chris and his rebirth was a vampire, course u all know a vampire can change a human to a vampire too by mingling blood. if u read vamp stories u know what im talkin bout. Chris is a vamp and has the body of a six year old. Anyway simon grows up with no brother , simon is already a young man. he goes out to the bar and meets a young boy and later that young boy changed simon into a vampire. Mayb u know who that young boy was? wink wink

Anyway phew long writing......Simon, in the present, meets Zoe and they talk about death. Simon reveals his true self and Zoe doesn't accept the fact till later. She thinks Fact is stranger than fiction. they both fall in love. and now simon wants Zoe to help him out in getting revenge.

Now u have to read the book to know what its about and find out how they kill chris..or do they? k sorry for writing soo long but it was worth it. Now I'm off to read Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause.

Summary: I loved this book
Review: I read this book in 8th grade, and fell madly in love with it. The characters have real problems, that real people have to deal with, set, of course, around the fantasy idea of vampires. The two main characters will start to live and breathe for you after the first several pages. I haven't read anything else by Klause, but if her other works are as captivating as this one was for me, then I will have to hunt them down and buy them.

Summary: Sliver Kiss
Review: I rated this book a three out of five becuase the book was kinda boring and wasen't that good. And I liked how the Author used it's word choice and the characters. But could have done alot better on the begining, middle and end. I also liked how zoe (which is the main character) did in the story. I advise people to read this if they liked mysteries.

Summary: Great YA Fiction
Review: The YA market has, over the last decade, produced some fine fiction. This simple tale of a young girl facing the death of her mother is really sweet and poetic. Zoe is the typical teenager with all the regular problems, except her mother is dying, her best friend is moving, and the guy she is falling for is a vampire. The Silver Kiss works, even on a simple level, because Simon is a metaphor for death and what awaits us all. There is also a lesson about isolation and loneliness. Ms. Klause did a wonderful job. It's a great read, even for me, and I'm 40something. <G> And I suggest it for all young adults. Nice love story too. And a neat subplot about going bad when you don't have to. Read it and weep. <G>

Summary: My Favorite Book
Review: As an inspiring writer, I have read quite a few books. However, none have moved me as this one has. It's a story about a mature high school girl named Zoe who, not only loses her best friend when through a moving situation, but has to deal with her confined mother and a busy father. She meets Simon, a mysterious vampire who has a problem of his own. Together, they help each other overcome obstacles and find love. The ending is a tearjerker with many philosophical meanings. It will make your heart ache. I can relate to Zoe, and Simon's character cannot help but be adored. The writing of this novel is wonderful, instantly pulling the reader into the story through the senses, emotion, and heart. No doubt that this book is perfect from cover to cover.

Summary: the best book in the world
Review: No matter how many times I read it I always get emotional and teary eyed because it reaches down to the depths of my soul, and every time it pulls out something that I didn't know was there, something I didn't know I felt or had even the most vague opinion about. Books that can do this to you are amazing and also I feel, very hard to find. Rare books are always good anyways. This is by far the best book that I've read during my 14 years of life and i reccomend it to anybody who likes to learn about themselves.

Summary: Buffy the Vampire Slayer eat your heart out!
Review: This book has to be the best fiction book that I have read this whole entire year. It has everything you would want to have in a book. Excitment/action, love, horror, tragedy, and comedy.(not to mention a really fine dude!) A girl who is going through a life crisis meets the right guy to help her understand, cope, and get through her problems. But the thing is the perfect guy for her turns out to be a vampire who is really really cute! It has a great ending too! Very unexpectd. To tell you the truth this is the only book that I really enjoyed. Do you know why? I didn't read the ending after the first chapter to get it over with. It's really really great. Check it out!
