Summary: Once you start reading it, you can't put it down!
Review: The Silver Kiss is a great book! Once you start reading it, you get addicted and want more. When you finish reading it, you'll wish there was more to read. The Silver Kiss is about a lonely girl named Zoë. Her mother is in the hospital slowly and painfully dying of cancer and her father is practically never at home. And when he is, it doesn't make a difference though, because he never talks to Zoë about her mother and doesn't allow her to see her mother except on short occasions. On a late night, Zoë feels like being alone just to think and relax from everything. What she doesn't know is that when she thinks that she's all-alone when a handsome young man sits next to her. He's Simon, a lonely vampire searching for his deadly vampire brother.
Little do they know that they need each other, two lonely people. Simon comes to see her to explain himself and she accepts him for what he is, then they become fast friends. To find out what happens in this adrenaline-rushing book full of adventure, sorrow, love and danger you'll have to experience reading this book.

Summary: Oh... where should I start...
Review: Oh my... what an EXCELLENT book..... Annette Klause did a spectacular job on this book.... She desribed every important aspect you can... The characters' personalities were superb... When I finished reading this book the first time.... I was in tears... I felt the sadness Zoe felt... And yet the happiness.... Every kind of emotion you can think off was put into this book.... From pure joy to deep hatred for Christopher and Van... oh... what was the last part of his name.... oh well... Simon was a great character.. ( I thought he was quite sweet and.. well ... a bit on the sexy side too :) This book is by far my favorite... I've read it A LOT... i give it 6 stars :)I was 11 when i read it and still read it... :)

Summary: A Shamefull pleasure, but maybe only for someone under 17
Review: This book was an amazing read when i was 15 years old, but now at twenty, it's more of a shamefull little pleasure. The book is a bit obvious in it's overtures, but is still a sweet portrait of a beyond the grave romance. I liked Zoe and Simon's characters, but I thought her eventual trust was a little unrealistic. This book was my favorite for quite a long time however, I must admit, and I still read it over on occasion. I definately reccomend this book to the young and the young at heart.

Summary: a little uneven, but rewarding
Review: You have to have a little patience when starting this book. Zoe is a girl struggling to survive her mother's illness and impending death. Simon is a vampire trying avenge the death of his parents hundreds of years ago. When they finally meet, they experience an unusual and beautiful kinship.

While there are many very strong points about this novel (including the great characters and unique plot), I found it a little hard to get into. The story and setting seemed vague in the first few chapters, and Zoe at first way too introspective. Once I trudged through it, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the way the book evolved.

Summary: First Novel
Review: To me it was obvious this was a first novel... I read the next one, Blood and Chocolate, before it and went eagerly in search of this one when I found out she had written another. Truthfully, I was a bit disappointed. I did not feel that this book was as good or as polished. Personally, I enjoyed the dark side and independence of the main character in Blood and Chocolate, and Zoe in The Silver Kiss was a little too good, and a bit too vulnerable, though she didn't show this, and ended up being quite brave. Anyway, I would recommend the book, and definitely recommend Blood and Chocolate. I have not, as of yet, read Alien Encounters (or is it Alien Secrets?) anyway, the Alien book.

Summary: A pretty good book
Review: "The Silver Kiss" is a good book, but not the best thing that I ever read. The book was really good in some parts but really boring in the other parts. I would say that this book is a Romantic Thriller, Simon (a vampire) falls in love with a girl named Zoe. Even though Simon has all these feelings for Zoe, his urge for blood is just to strong. Simon, I think, is the best character in this book. I guess I just like reading about vampires and things of that nature. This is a good book if you like to read things about vampires or you like the read Romantic Thrillers.

Summary: OK/I don't recommend It
Review: The book "The Silver Kiss" was not a very good book. The thing that bugged me the most was the way they drug things out. It was very boring at first, but after you get into the book it gets a little suspensful. The part I like is where Zoe sees Simon eating a bird in the alley. If you are into vampires and mystery then this might be the book for you.

Summary: the Book
Review: The book "The Silver Kiss" is not very good because it is boring. I almost fell a sleep while reading this book. I don't think that anybody should read this book because it seems that it drags you on and on. I got confused because in each chapter it would change scenes from Simon to Zoe. Simon is by far the best charcter in the book and I think it is cool how he goes around and bites people on the neck and takes there blood and uses as like a fruit drink. There is how ever a good plot in this book. The book is good towards the end and I like how simon takes Zoe's blood and she dosen't mind because she is in love with him. While he is taking her blood she said it felt like, "Silver bubbles started to rise from her breast and burst within her head like champaign, and her body responded her into quickened breath." I thought this was a good line in the book because it is really saying how much she likes him. I don't think that you should read this book overall even though there were good parts in the book.

Summary: The Silver Kiss
Review: A dangerously exciting book that you can't put down. Its about a girl named Zoe that has everything going wrong in her life. First her mom is dying of cancer, then her dad shuts her out, and now her best friend is moving to the other side of the country. The only person she has now, is this mysterious boy that she thinks could be killing people in her town. He is hiding something, and she knows it. But what could it be?
