Rating: Summary: SENSUAL!! Review: Although I read SILVER KISS about a year ago, I could still remember that this is a beautiful and touching novel. It doesn't have none of those gross-blood-and-guts stuff. Only hope, love and understanding from a young lost soul vampire named Simon who helped out the heroine to overcome her dying mother. I would recommend it to everyone because it's a really strong, compelling book...-Zoe
Rating: Summary: Best book I've read. Review: THE SILVER KISS was a excellent book. I've read alot of vampire books, but this is the absoulute best. I didn't put it down once until I had finished it. I'd even dare-say it was better than Bram Stoker's DRACULA. It doesn't portray the vampire like a animal, but more like a lost soul.
Rating: Summary: a magical tale for all ages Review: I remember that The Silver Kiss was the first vampire novel I ever read. I was so captivated I became an avid vampire fan. I was so happy that someone had finally written a book geared toward young adults that was not shallow, and was an intelligent as well as entertaining read. It goes beyond being a simple vampire tell, it explores the themes of love, change, and even death of a loved one. Even years after I read it(or any young adult book, for that matter) it stays in my mind and my heart. I could pick it up now and enjoy almost as much as I did when I was a young girl reading it for the first time.
Rating: Summary: The most beautiful book I've ever read.. Review: This book will forever be in my heart, this touching story. If I've ever read -any- good book before, this is it. It grossed me out and still touched my heart. Oh, and it was so sad at certain parts! You've just got to read it!!
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: I've read this book MANY times and I loved it more each time I've read it. :) I't was so romantic:) I love it!
Rating: Summary: This book has a magical quality that made me obsessed. Review: The power of the book kept me continuing to read it over and over. I never read books more than once, but I have read this one time and time again. It's amazing.
Rating: Summary: It made me smile... it made me cry Review: I loved this book. My friend lent it to me since I'm really into reading (I love to read) andsince romance and vampire books are my favorites.I read it... and I couldn't put it down! I can relate to Zoe (main character) because my mom died of cancerand I went through the whole ordeal she did (except, I didn't meet ANY vampires). I highly recommended this book. The best part is that you can really get into the book and the author lets you feel like you've become them, also, I was so into it, that I cried at the end. This just shows you how good the book was. It was great. :)
Rating: Summary: Zoe meets someone "older" who can help her with her problems Review: Zoe's life is not going well. Her mother has cancer and Zoe's not allowed to visit her in the hospital. Her only contact with her dad seems to be notes attached to the refrigerator and her best friend just moved away. In the park she meets Simon. Simon seems like the only one who understands her. He has alot more experience because he is older than Zoe, 300 years older and he's a vampire!
Rating: Summary: You'll want to read it again and again. Review: I absolutly loved this book! It's the kind of book I could read again and again, and never get tired of it( and I almost never read a book more than once). The ending made me cry though
Rating: Summary: Beautiful, spellbinding, and like nothing I've ever read! Review: It was like there was some magical silver binding that held you to it and you never wanted to let go. It discribes the emotions of a girl in pain so accurate that tears came into my eyes more than once. It's like for one moment in time I AM her because I know what it's like to feel that horrible sorrow that builds up in you when there is no parents to clean it away. When the book is over, I promise you'll want to read it again
