Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: The Silver Kiss was one of the best books I have ever read! I couldn't put it down! I loved how Zoe and Simon came together to help each other in their greatest time of need.
Rating: Summary: If you want a good vamp novel, try Companions of the Night! Review: I was disappointed with this novel. After reading Companions of the Night, by Vivian Vande Velde, I thought I'd give this one a chance. Waste of money. It's overly mushy, it lacks suspense, it's annoying at times and the matter-of-fact considerations about death left me cold. Oh and the word "stars" is used just a little too repetitively for my taste. It's no thriller, nothing thrills here. And not a spark of sense of humour. OK, I might as well say it: it sucks.
Rating: Summary: The Silver Kiss was great! Review: I bought the Silver Kiss after I read "Blood and Chocolate." Annette Curtis Klause is extremely talented and her books are amazing. The plot of the book and the relationship between the characters Simon and Zoe is very realistic. The book is split up so sometimes Zoe is the main character and other times it's Simon. The book was really creative and I really enjoyed it.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely compelling Review: That is the only way to describe this book. Simon and Zoe are described in such graphic detail that you feel as if they were real people. The plot twists and turns and keeps the reader wanting more. An awesome story of 'forbidden' love also. Simon and Zoe are so...Naw i won't tell, you'll just have to read it.
Rating: Summary: I loved it!!! Review: I really enjoyed this book. It had every element needed for a romantic (and slightly horrific) novel. The end was perfect, sad, but calming. I urge you to read this book.
Rating: Summary: A novel of horror and suspense Review: In "The Silver Kiss", by Annette Curtis Klause, a young woman of seventeen, Zoe, is having a few problem: A mother suffering from cancer, a father's lost love, and a friend ready to move on, all contribute to a meeting with a mysterious young man by the name of Simon. For the most part, Simon keeps his life hidden but feels comfortable enough to share it with Zoe. A roller coaster of events and emotions follow when Zoe tries to find the solutions to her problems while trying to help Simon, who is a vampire, find peace with what he has become. A series of events lead up to a dramatic ending which is sure to entertain any reader. This book keeps up a constant flow of suspense and thrills which entertain any reader. The author's writing skills keep the ending mysterious, leaving the reader on the seat of what would happen. No time was wasted on meaningless writing which by most is greatly appreciated and each chapter always has something new and interesting to reveal. This book of love and horror is almost a sure guarantee not to let any reader down.
Rating: Summary: All great literature HAS to have fangs! Review: I really love this book. If you are into the whole Vampire, Dracula Wolfman thing, and are also a hopeless romantic, you will devour this book! The story is so elegantly written, and the emotions are so deeply touching, I guarranty you'll cry at the end.
Rating: Summary: Well developed characters, beautiful ending. Review: Zoe and Simon are believable characters struggling to deal with the age-old, yet still challenging theme of death. As their relationship develops, they help each other understand rather than fear death. The ending is beautiful, with an unusual spiritual quality. An excellent book.
