Summary: Wonderful Novel
Review: This was a novel I wasn't sure I would like, since I am not a big Angel fan (neither the character nor the series), but I was pleasantly surprised. Mel Odom has written a complex, captivating story. All the players are wonderfully kept in character, with no continuity problems or slip-ups, as has happened with other writers.
It was very nice to find out more about Angel and Spike's past and the romantic side of Spike is very nicely written, without losing the somewhat wicked and selfish side of him.
All in all a very worthwhile read!

Summary: great book
Review: when a loan shark comes looking for spike he is desperate to get some money. so when some demons approach him and offer him 50,000 to help the steal a mystical object in los angeles, spike agrees to go along with them. little do they know that they are not the only ones looking for the object. angel, wolfram and hart and gypsies are also tyring to get their hands on it. the story has lots of suspense and it keeps you coming back for more.
it also gives wonderful insights into the past lives of angel and spike before angel got his soul back which also make for interesting reading. mel odom usually writes good books and this one will not disappoint angel fans. by the way if this book is a crossover, where is buffy?
