Summary: to much of a cliche
Review: My rating may be a bit to high for this book, the names the characters it's been done before. the plot was somewhat different but the basic inn on the seashore and falling for the beautiful vampire, puhleaze i found parts extremely hilarious when they werent supposed to be. the ending was disappointing, had it been good it would have picked up the slack. i recommend 'sunshine' by robin mckinley or 'the vampire lestat' by well you know who.

Summary: *crinkles her nose in disgust*
Review: Ok, that was bad... that was really really bad. I was expecting something along the lines of "The Silver Kiss" by Anette Curtis Klaus, because it was linked to that book "people who bought ____ also bought ____" But this is no where near the same level of reading or the same entertainment value. I was very unimpressed.

Summary: Not For Me
Review: Okay. I'm a Tamora Pierce fan, especially of her fantastically-plotted quartets.I have a slight interest in vampires in general; that's why I enjoyed Amelia Atwater-Rhodes since her first publishing. This book, however, freaked me out entirely. The plot, all the seduction directed at a 'normal' girl by a dead-gorgeous vampire was disturbing. The author's writing style was...interesting because during the suspenseful scenes, the words would pulse. If I liked dark, moody horror novels, this would be rated tops, but I don't.Tamora Pierce's novels have girls-kick-butt action and the plot never flaggs. Also, the author is dependable because she realizes that neglected readers make bad fans. Her material is original; it's fantasy with a setting girls can relate to and in the quartets, Tortall is like a version of the Middle Ages.My friend got me hooked in sixth grade, the same grade when I picked-up "Look For Me By Moonlight".I'm not a chicken; this book just didn't suit me.Check-out "Sabriel" by Garth Nix for a strong female main character who kicks ass.

Summary: Look For Me By Moonlight
Review: This book comes in at a close second for the title of my favorite book (that spot is held for Harry Potter and I think it always will be). Throughout the book, as it was so amazingly written, I felt all that Cynda did. Though I knew that Vincent was evil from the start, my suspitions grew weak as the plot thickened and Cynda's affections for him grew. His true identity was a complete surprise to me. I finished the book yesterday, but with every thought, it still lingers in my mind. This book was so powerful to me. I recommend it to anyone who knows how to read.

Summary: Original in it's own genre.
Review: This book follows a teen girl who feels as insecure and inadequate as most teens do. She flies to Maine to spend the season with her father and his family in the old Inn that they run. The story turns when a handsome stranger checks in...and keeps turning from there on. This book appeals to all the senses and is equipped with excellent mannerism and word technique. An abrupt ending, but one that was hard to put down. Creative and written in a way that pulls you into the scenes. Necessary for every library.

Summary: Tiresomely predictable
Review: This book has no surprises and no depth. It's formulaic and mechanical. The characters are simplistic, the plot is predicable, and there's just nothing there to get interested in.

Summary: This book was really good
Review: This book is almost as good as The silver Kiss

Summary: look for me by moonlight
Review: This book is definitely pushing the message to young people that bad guys are out there and so you had better beware. I thought the author using a great looking guy as the bad guy and an average girl as the victim was a slip-up in the plot; it kind of shouts If it seems too good to be real then it probabaly is! Which I thought the message could have been done better if the average looking guy who seems great then turns out to be sinister would have sent the message that bad guys can come in all forms.
I love fantasies, both adult and young, and I love romantic gothic tales; you will find neither here. It does have a vampire, it does have a forbidden age romance, and it does have the age old I'm a child of a divorce who just wants my biodad without his extra family; but it is a tale of what usually happens in this case, things go terribly wrong and of course to the young, naive plain-looking girl. Don't worry, the author finally gives us a knight in shining armour, that has absolutely no reason to be one, to save our stupid victim....uh heroine just cannot fit...and then leaves us with the fear most real victims have: will the evil return or is it truely gone for good?

In all, a great read to give younger girls out there, in the hopes the fake plot line will lure them to read it for their own good...haha. I did read it more than once, once when younger I liked it fairly well; then once as an older person who then saw the thinnly veiled Large BEWARE blinking sign throughout the story and still finished the book.

Summary: excellent- satisfies your hunger for horror
Review: This book is the best book I have ever read! It was very suspensefull and bone-chilling. It seemed very realistic. You do not normally see books with so much detail on the market. I couldn't stop reading it until the end. You will definently be satisfied with the ending. I would recommend this book for 12 years of age and older.

Summary: Perfect!!!!
Review: This book is wonderful. I am ready it for the 10th time in just 4 months. If you love horror stories and love stories as well, you will surely love this book. Mary Downing Hahn has writting with grace that many other authors have not yet done. This is a must read book.
