Rating: Summary: pretty good Review: Hey! I am a HUGE Phantom of the Opera phan! Alright, I adored her first book, Progeny, but this one didn't quite match up to it. Charles (AKA Raoul) whined way too much and curses wayyyyy too much!! They say "Christ!" and "God!" so many times its annoying, however besides that, it was quite enjoyable to read... She didn't do Erik very much justice, however. And I love Erik, don't get me wrong. She did not do a very good job in describing him, our beloved Phantom. But other than those facts, it was quite good. I guess I'd reccomend it to an obsessed phan like me!
Rating: Summary: A total disappointment! Review: I disliked this book intensely. I loathed the plot, the characters, especially Erik, and believe me, it pains me to say that. This book achieves what even Gaston Leroux's book could not; to portray Erik as a truly evil, self-serving monster. There is a scene toward the end of the book that is so unnecessary and offensive I had to put the book down and later force myself to finish it only because I paid for it with my hard earned money! Read the first book in this series; Progeny, but don't bother with this one. Definately two thumbs down!
Rating: Summary: This "Phantasy" disapoints this phan reader Review: I had the fortunate chance to read this book before blindly purchasing it for the simple sake of having what might possibly be a gem in phantom fiction. Thank goodness I was spare the waste of money I would have spent on it. This story spirals into a chaotic mishmash of fantastical and unbelievable tale that left me annoyed that I had wasted my time reading it. This sequel novel half-heartedly picks up where Becky L. Meadow's last book, "Progeny" left off. "Progeny" left the reader hanging, wondering what would happen to the characters, and this novel does not even begin to answer half the questions we were left with from the last book. Rather than picking up where we were left at the end of the last book, we are transported forward through time to a place where some of our previously favorite characters have become mere shadows of themselves. Rather than being an entertaining novel, I found that this work was little more than the author's attempt to live out a dream that isn't possible; our dear Phantom is not likely to come looking for his beloved Christine reincarnated in the body of a phantom phan, but this book would have you believe otherwise. The characters are poor imitations of how Meadows portrayed them in her first novel - rather than being interesting and having an added depth to them in their newly reincarnated state, they seem to have become dull-witted and inclined to argue tirelessly. All in all, not worth the time to read, nor the money to purchase, unless you simply want to own it for the novelty.
Rating: Summary: An Absolute Must for the Phantom Phan Review: I have read many works of fiction related to "Phantom of the Opera". None have been as fulfilling and as engrossing as this novel. It is an absolute must for any phan who has been touched by Erik. Worth every dime.

Rating: Summary: Another great phantom book but with a twist Review: Not as poignant as Meadow's first phantom book, Progeny but the passion and romance is still there. This time, Phantasy is placed in the present but deals with magice, past lives and an undying love that will go through the ages. Eric is still the same, but Christine and Raoul are different people and even Meg, Christine's dancing friend from the original novel shows up. Meadows writes of love that expands through time, along with outer body experiences. Catherine is having strange dreams of the Phantom and has become obsessed with the story and Eric. She feels she is Christine at times and needs her Angel! Is she going insane or is Eric trying to reach to his Christine who is always out of his reach? So much goes on in this book that takes the reader to psychics, seances and even to France and the opera house. Let your mind take you on a journey that will stick with you to the very end.
Rating: Summary: Down Once More.... Review: OK I loved her first book but this doesn't even resembel the Phantom to me.I'm not even half way done but I am all ready disapointed.Cathrine acts imature and Charles is a whiney bastard who says *Christ* too many damn times.Erik doesnt even remotly resembel himself.I wonder why she took extra care in changing Christine's and Raoul's name and not Erik's! *Big let down for a sequel.Stick with the first one.*
