Summary: Disturbing, hence wonderful
Review: I read this book some years ago and enjoyed it. It's rather disturbing. My favorite part is when Louis has dug up Gage and has placed him sitting, bent at the waist wrapped in a tarp in the passenger seat. Only a horrible thought occurs to him. What if his little dead body is facing the wrong way and his waist is bending backwards? That was so creepy to me. Those little details make the story. Very disturbing. King, as we know, is a genius who hardly ever lets us down. I read this book along with Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and the latter got me thinking a lot about how Louis Creed and Victor Frankenstein were similar. They were both very sane rational men... both were even doctors, both living in insane cirsumstances, wanting to bring the dead back to life. Both have disastorous results. Cheating death is always a fascinating topic, and wonderfully portrayed here by King in Pet Semetary.

Summary: Simply stunning
Review: I read this book when I was about nine, and I must say...this book is simply stunning. It really freaked me out that time, and yet I've read it about a hundred times, it still does. A really scary book... simply stunning!

Summary: Kind a scary but fun to read.
Review: I really enjoyed reading this novel. It's one of my favorite and longest novels I have ever read. It was kind a scary but when I watched the movie I thought it was scary but not that scary. I know some people hate this novel but I really had fun reading it because it was thrilling!!!

Summary: Pretty good.-Pet Semetary
Review: I think that King could have done better, but all-in-all, it was a pretty good book.

Summary: I'm sorry, but these three stories......
Review: I'm sorry, but I did NOT like these three stories. Nor did I like the movies for Carrie or Pet Semetary. With two exceptions (Firestarter & The Dead Zone) I find King's books overly gruesome and with a lot of things they could do without. If he starts writing how he used to (like Firestarter) then maybe I'll convert back. But for right now, my friend & I who used to read his books are loyal Dean Koontz fans.

Summary: It wasn't the best.. :(
Review: It was scary at times, but it was also way to far fetched. Stephen Kings books are usually better, but this one was too damn depressing. Sorry Steve, but you could have done better.

Summary: Pet Semetary
Review: My the fear you will experience while reading this book is shocking. I was so frightened while reading the last 50 pages of this book that I called my mother. I asked her to please come down as I finish the book because I knew how frightened I would be.

Summary: PET SEMETARY: review
Review: PET SEMETARY is a book that was written in such a creepy, ironic, and desturbing way, that if it was any more realistic, it would make the time of year I read it ( In October, of all times. ) a scary time to remember. The idea of the story is you can bring back the dead by putting them in the ancient indian burial ground behind the dead fall in the Pet Semetary. It takes place in the everyday neighborhood in the suburbs. A family of four have resently moved to town. There kids, unaware of death, and there parents afraid to talk about it. Then their cat die and, it gets worse from there. The suburbs are soon replaced by old, ancient woods and dreary graveyards, and only adds to the creepyness. Although the characters are pretty simple, they show true fear and emotion. All and all, it's a great horror, and a classic Halloween story in my book.

Summary: TRULY A GORE FEST FOR THE AGES
Review: Stephen King, to me, is a genius. Pet Semetary is the best book and movie you will ever read and see. Lots of gore and sad moments, but GET OVER IT, ITS STEPHEN KING!!!

Summary: Pet Semetary
Review: The book "Pet Semetary," by Stephen King is a bone-chilling, suspenseful novel. Stephen King is an infamous author for his scary, out of this world writings. The time period meant for this book is around the late 1980's. The plot starts off as an average family that moves out into the country into a ranch-like home. Their new neighbor, who is very kind, offers to show the family around the town. They run into a place called "Pet Semetary," which is very creepy. This pet cemetary is where the format of the book takes place. The cemetary brings the family as well as the neighbor misery, terror, and death into their lives. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat. It will make you never want to put the book down and read it until it is over. You should only read it though if you like scary books, because sometimes the book is so scary that you have to put it down a relax for just a minute. I thought it was an awesome book and thought it was extremely scary. Sometimes it was so scary I would have nightmares about it. Also, if you do not like very long books you should not read it because it's tremendously long. The language that he uses in this book is not very difficult so it is easy to follow along, in addition to the chapters don't jump from one thing to another so it doesn't confuse you. Overall, I think this book is a must read! If you have the chance go to the bookstore and buy it, you won't be sorry.
