Summary: Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder have struck again!
Review: This book was really, really good and very well written. The Erl King was truly an evil character in this book. I love the way they described Roland and the Hunters. (Including the hounds and the dark faeries) It was very descriptive and exciting! READ THIS ONE!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Buy this book. You will love it!
Review: I really loved this book. I couldn't put it down until I had finished.I thought the idea was really great. Roland was a really cool character. I liked how they went to the fair and Buffy was noticing how everything seemed so real. It's like she has slayer sense for danger.

Summary: Child of the Hunt was the best Buffy book I've read.
Review: If you are a Buffy fan like me, you will love this book. Child of the Hunt has a mixture of things, a creepy faire, a sad boy named Roland, tiny creatures that are looking for flesh, and plenty of creatures that go bump in the night. Child of the Hunt is a great book for Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans.

Summary: What do you mean I have to put the book down?!
Review: This book is my favorite and it must be the favorites of people all over the world too!!!! When I say it was a G.R.E.A.T. book I mean it! I've read every single book like: The Harvest, Halloween Rain, Coyote Moon, Night of the Living Rerun, The Angle Chronicles (vol.1&2), Blooded, Return to Chaos, Out of The Madhouse, ect. It was the first Buffy book I have ever read and I bought all of the other books but they just couldn't compare to Child of the Hunt. :)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is an action packed adventure!
Review: Child of the Hunt is an action packed adventure that will have everyone on the edge of their seats. This story really pulls you in and you actually feel like you're there! In this book a rennasiance fair comes to town and Buffy suspects something isn't quite right. It turns out she's right. With the capture of Giles, Willow, and Xander the Slayer, Angle, and Oz are lead on one of the hardest and dangerous adventures they've faced.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good story, same wonderul characters, a few slip-ups
Review: "Child of the Hunt" was the first BtVS book I'd read. It won't be the last, but it has cemented my feeling that the non-TV stuff needs stronger ties to the TV staff. CotH had continuity problems, much like those of the comic book, and occasionally displayed what can only be described as flat out wrong dialogue for Angel and Oz.

On the other hand, most of the book was quite good. The story had a quality MotW plot with generally good pacing and narration. OK, it did sometimes dip into pointless and inexplicable hipspeak, but I'll let that go. The resolution was strong and the story overall was quite compelling -- I wanted to keep reading, narration be damned!

If Golden & Holder (and Andi Watson, on the comic book) get things straight with regard to continuity, I think their upcoming Gatekeeper Trilogy could prove to be quite memorable.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: very compelling to read
Review: well although I have read better books on buffy this was really good! I guess the only thing I could put down was that it had a good vibe of the show but it wasn't great. this dosen't matter now but I kinda didn't like having to put it off for a while because the new season hadn't started and in the book she was already back in sunnydale.
