Summary: a book that is hard to forget...
Review: Faerie Tale is easily the best book I have read in a long time.
It is a haunting, dark look at the idea of humans and faerie intermixing. The descriptions are vivid, and it makes me want to walk in the woods after dark on a midsummer's eve almost hoping I will encounter something magick. Definitely recommended to anyone with an interest in faeries and dark fantasy. I wish I could find another book like this one. Unfortunately, it looks like this is the only one that Rayond E. Feist has written like this.

Summary: This is a wonderful book!
Review: For those who don't know, Raymond E. Feist is one of the worlds greatest fastasy novelists. I am reading the Empire books now, and I am an avid fan of his newest series, Riftwar Legacy. Faerie Tale was a gift, and frankly, I didn't think that Feist could pull of the magic he did in his other books. He can. This book is really an incredible read: it has likeable, well developed characters, a scary and mystical plot, and some of the best imagery you'll ever see. The book really evoked my imagination, and was a lot of fun to read. A warning though, this book has a couple of erotic sequences (though they are done pretty well), and those who are against that sort of stuff might stay away. All in all a really great book. Read it, and read Feist's other stuff with it! You won't regret a thing!

Summary: Excellent
Review: An excellent book on courage and brotherly love. To believe the unbelievable just because one has too much to lose. Those are the values it presented that drew me into the story. I read it once, it was a good fairy tale; I read it twice, I see the fear and love; I read the third time, I sense the courage of a boy that stems from the love of another, a sacrifice and risk taking that very few of us would even "think" of doing. Read it and tell us what you see ....

Summary: Had my atenion from chapter 1!
Review: I could not put Faerie Tale down. the title jumped at me in Libary and I picked it up thinking for something lame but it isn't. this book will change everything you think you know about folk lore, it has action, romance, folklore, and even a smidge of Shakespear, a ploy of "A Midsummers night dream" With an Evil modern day twist. once you read the first chapter youy won't be able to put it down!!

Summary: Now this is great stuff. . . .
Review: This is an AWESOME book! I read it because I had already read the Riftwar saga, and wanted more of Raymond E. Feist. Like another reviewer said, I was completely blown away by this book. Why? Because its just a great book! Why is it a great book?

1. Likeable, although typical characters. Having children as heroes is absolutely brilliant and original, I must say, what with their guillibleness and naivety.

2. Eroticy? What need is there for eroticy? There actually, in my mind was no need, but it was very unique, nonetheless, overwhelming, intoxicating, but soft-core in its intensity.

3. Feist's incredibly addictive, inviting, enticing writing style abounds in this book badly.

Summary: Its the best fiction book I've read!
Review: I've read a lot of fiction and fantasy books and this blows them out of the water. It has mystery, horror, death, and action. The first Time I read the book I finished it in under a week. I've read the book five times after that and I'll read it a few more times after I'm done. I give the book two and a half thumbs up, witch is hard because I don't have two and a half thumbs.

Summary: I like it
Review: I've read the book three times and it gets better each time.

Summary: This book is a must-read!
Review: I have to confess: I am not a fantasy reader. This is the only Raymond Feist book I've read, but I read it 3 times! Faerie Tale is an edge-of-your-seat, thrilling, chilling page-turner. The first time I read the book it kept me up at night...I couldn't put it down. Nothing's changed after 3 readings! This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a well written and entertaining story.

Summary: A chilling tale
Review: This was a terrific book. It was my first foray into fantasy since The Hobbit and now I want more! It brings to life everything that gave me nightmares as a child and I caught myself peering into the shadows even as I was reading it. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in folklore. It is a tale that wonderfully weaves Irish mythology into a present day story.

Summary: A creepy page turner that makes you believe..
Review: What can I say, I simply loved this book. Dark fantasy with a twist, it's a huge must read. My only problem is, once I've read it I cannot seem to find anything similar that's just as good! It's been years and I'm still looking! So, buy the book and dim the lights...the fool is about!
