Rating: Summary: Is this the exception? Review: Several vital aspects of the series was reproduced perfectly - the angst of Nick Knight as he deals with his own occasional revulsion regarding his reliance on the vampire as well as his long-time desire to once again become a mortal. And he will do anything to fulfill that desire. In the dream world - or is it reality? - he experiences what had been denied by his vampire reality, dragging the reader along on the emotional roller-coaster with him. Perhaps, this time, he will get his hearts' desire. LaCroix is portrayed well as the indulgent "parent" that, in his own way, loves his prodigal son and allows Nick to make his own mistakes. Knowledge of the series is strongly recommended or else the reader will develop a hunger for more information as tidbits are dropped along the way.
Rating: Summary: Forever Knight fan's dream ... Nick Knight's nightmare. Review: Susan Garrett has produced a book that can be counted amongstthe best in Media Fiction. Faithful to the show and full of energyIntimations of Immortality essence of the series' themes and characters. The book will mean more to fans than to those who have not watched the series, but it is a well written book that promises a good read. One hopes to see more from her in the future. END

Rating: Summary: This book held to the T.V. series, and I loved every page! Review: The book was fast-paced and very enjoyable. From the beginning, it started with action, and didn't stop till the last sentence. I liked how Garrett developed both the virtual and reality in the point of view of Nick Knight. I didn't put the book down till I hit the last sentence. Thanks Garrett!
Rating: Summary: for FK fans, perhaps 3 for anyone else Review: The story opens with Nick Knight, Toronto police detective and vampire continuing his quest to regain his mortality. Natalie Lambert, mortal, police coroner and Nick's would be lover, has returned from a trip to NY where she has picked up a dream doll that Nick had located in an occult shop. Nick had been told that the doll would help him achieve his most heartfelt desire, an idea that ever practical Natalie discounts. The doll does cause Nick to alternate between realities - his current reality of being a vampire in a mortal world and his dream state of being a mortal in a world filled by vampires. As with all tie-in novels there are no permanent changes made to the existing universe but the story does raise interesting questions to the nature of reality. For fans of Forever Knight this is an excellent read. The characters are all true to the series and the action is faithful to the timeline of the last half of the final season. The interactions of the various characters and how they change as the realities shift is done quite well. For those who are unfamiliar with the Forever Knight world this would be a very confusing and frustrating place to begin.
Rating: Summary: Interesting Review: This book had a wacky plot, However the Forever Knight series is pretty wack too. Once I got past my dis-belief at the premise I was captivated by the plot and characters. I was stealing moments at my desk to read a few more pafges just to see what would happen next. It was a great read for FK fans.
Rating: Summary: A ton of fun! Review: This book is a delightful opportunity to re-visit the Forever Knight universe. Susan's writing style is always enjoyable, light and friendly. The story provides an ingenious way to explore the characters by providing "dream" versions whose physical nature, but not basic personalities, have changed. Definitely recommended!
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable revisiting of the series Review: This FK novel was the one that most quickly captured my attention and effortlessly held it throughout the reading. The flip-flopping of Nick's dream-world and reality had some elements of one of my favorite FK episodes (Curiouser and Curiouser), but handled in a new, unique story. I've seen all the FK episodes multiple times and have them all on tape. I really wanted to get to the end of this one. It was not hard to immerse myself in it from the time I started reading it, because it was like reading a "lost episode" of Forever Knight -- probably the best compliment one can give fan fiction. Definitely a fun read.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable revisiting of the series Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read bar none, I have seen every episode of the television series a number of times, and the author positively has the flavor of the characters down pat. This book is very well thought out and very well written. I pray that Susan M. Garrett writes many more Forever Knight novels, as devoted Forever Knight Fans such as myself have had our hearts ripped out at the cancellation of this great series. Way to go Susan M. Garrett!
