Summary: All lovers of vampires MUST read this book.
Review: L.J. Smith once again draws readers into the world of the love triangle between Elena, the beautiful girl of Fell's Church, and the two seductive vampire brothers that fall in love with her. Anyone who picks this book up will not be able to put it down. It lures readers into the world Smith creates and leaves them craving more. What will happen to Elena? Will she overcome the darkness that threatens to destroy her or will she triumph through her love of Stefan?

Summary: a great teenage love story w/ a supernatural twist
Review: Out of all the series thatI read, I honestly have to say that this is the best series I have ever read. It' got everything a book needs: good atmosphere, lively(or unlively) characters, love, excitement, and the list goes on and on. L.J Smith is truly a great writer and I recommend all of her books.

Summary: GETTING WORSE AND WORSE
Review: These books are getting way to out dated and too mushy, where's the action and where's the twisted romance? The author must be really sick with how this book was written.

Summary: The best book by LJ Smith
Review: This book is great. I have read a lot of books by LJ Smith, who is my favourite author, and this is the best. It even beats the whole Night World sereis, but narrowly. The characters are really vivid: unsure Elena, psychic, romantic Bonnie and refined Meredith. Stefan and Damon Salvatore, the two vampires competing for Bonnie, are both ruthless yet compassionate, and you never know which one is on the right side...

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not a bad read.
Review: This isn't a bad read and it's a quick read too. I love reading vampire novels, and was told I should give it a try. Over all, it wasn't that bad. I found it interesting that the word "vampire" is never used. If it was, it was done once and I missed it.

This is the story of Stefan, a vampire that wasn't to put his past behind him, and live a "normal" life as a vampire. He enrolls on school and meets Elena, who falls for Stefan. Some murders happen and all (most all) of the finger pointing goes to Stefan. Stefan has a darker and more evil Brother nanmed, Damon. He too wasn't Elena. And will kill for her....

Over all it's a decent book. It's a YA book, so it's not heavy on teh vampire aspect. Heck, the vampires could go out in the day. that was a bit over the top for me, but I enjoyed the book.

Smith has a writing style that can keep you hooked to the book. The char are well developed and the plot is interesting to read with a lot of nice twists.

take a chance, you may like it.

Summary: An unforgettable romance meets horror
Review: This truely got to be the BEST vampire book I've read. This book is full of surprises and poor Damon is so misunderstood! The beautiful blonde girl is torn between two brothers and when you read it you can see why. Who would you pick? Sweet loving Stefan or mysterious exciting Damon? Both have a good heart and blood thirsty..
