Summary: Great Plot
Review: This book was really good, but I'd have to say that the beginning started out a bit slow. You really have to stick with it to enjoy the book, but once you get past a certain point, it's all up hill from there. The plot was so creative, and definately the end surprising! You'll love it!

Summary: Great book!
Review: This is an excellent book. I was totally surprised with how it turned out. Especially when it had a happy ending. Flynn was an especially good twist to the plot because nobody was sure what he had to do with what happened that night. I felt close to Shani and wanted to help Robin as bad as she did. Lena was another interesting part of the story. Did she set Kerry up or not. If you are looking for a great book, pick this one up, it will be tough to find anything better.

Summary: [My] Review
Review: This story is very entertaining and suspenseful. A group of teenagers go to a party in Mexico at their friend's mansion. They think it's a time for beer, tan lines, and an overall good time. But somebody in they're little get-together is a traitor, and soon this enjoyable vacation becomes scary beyond imaginable. On saturday, they worked on their tans...By Sunday, they were working on keeping alive.

Summary: Absolutely fantabulous
Review: This work is Pike at his best. Weekend is one of my favorite books of all time, and I read it about twice a year or more since I first read it almost four years ago. Weekend has all the right stuff...mystery, romance, hot guys, people you can relate to, and comedy. What more could one ask for?

Even though it's one of Pike's earliest works, I think that it is one of his best. I recommend this book to anyone who has ever read Pike or even if you haven't, try this one and see if you don't like it. I think I like this one better than some of his more recent works because it is different from his recent ones. His recent works have more of the supernatural/sci-fi element, and while that is all good and well, I enjoy more grounded works every once in a while, which Weekend is.

Summary: Be careful what your kids are reading
Review: We would give this zero stars if we could. Our 12 year old checked this out of the library because he likes reading scary stories. My wife and I decided to read it also, and we were shocked. Don't let your children read this book if you are concerned about teaching them good moral values. The characters in the book are not well developed and are not realistic. They promote casual sexual relations, and are obsessed with sex. We certainly don't want our child being deceived by the garbage being pushed by Christopher Pike and Scholastic Books, which we previously trusted to publish good childrens literature.
