Review: Glen Carig has great promise, but ends up dwelling where it shouldn't, skipping where it should linger, describing in the most technical manner where...... Well, you get it. Hodgson always seem to choose the wrong time to do or not to do something in this novel. sad. the story is about the fate of some ships in a strange place. the house on the borderland is the greatest book in weird fiction. amazing imagery, great description, the helplesness and horror the man in the house is experiencing can be experienced by anyone. the weird landscape and the descriptions of cosmos is a must-read. the story is about a house connected to something outerworldly. it is visited by strange beings trying to get in. the main person must keep them out, and wants to solve the mystery

Review: Two novels in one; they both are an easy read that you won't want to put down. They have great characters and incredible stories that will stick with you and make you think about them long after they are finished. These are a must have for any sci-fi/horror fan. My favorites.
