Review: McCammon does it again. This book about a woman definately over the edge is a real page turner. There is a lot of excitement in this story about a woman who kidnaps an infant from a hospital and the mother who will go to any lengths to get her baby back. Mary Terror is a real nut case.

Review: Read this exceptional thriller and I guarantee that the character, Mary (Terror) Terrell, is one that you'll never forget. To be more accurate, this is a novel you'll never forget. Robert R. McCammon's brilliant prose, intelligence and his true love of his work shines brightly in all his novels, and "Mine" is no exception. The terms, "Heart Stopping," "Hair Raising" "Fast and Furious," and "Edge of Your Seat," are being applied way too often on countless unthrilling thrillers, but trust me, they certainly fit the bill for this novel. From beginning to end, this is truly one fun, brutal and beautiful rollercoaster of a novel. All the lead characters are extremely well developed, the pacing is sheer perfection, and the story is sensational and utterly believable throughout. This book is one of those rare gems of fiction that will force the reader to believe that it's a work of non-fiction. Mr. McCammon has the rarest of talents to capture heart pounding intensity and set a mood and atmosphere so well, you will "melt" into the story. If you are tired of all the lackluster thrillers that are saturating the market currently, seek out "Mine" and get reminded of how this genre should be done. Robert R. McCammon is a master, and this novel is just one of his many masterpieces.

Review: This book will take you on a trip that you have never been, and the suspense and terror is non-stop. This guy knows how to write a novel that grabs you by the groin, and not let you go. This makes Steven King and the like seem like Hansel and Gretel; the attention is fully paid to the suspense and horror as well as character development - you really feel like you know these people by the end of the novel, and you have skidmarks on you in the process! Unfortunately, RMC has retired from writing, however his legend is in print - check out all his stuff! 'Mine' is one of his absolute best suspense/terror novels - enjoy with the lights on! The first chapter is enough to make you read on...and on...

Summary: MINE was an odyssey of terror of the human heart!
Review: This is only the 2nd book I have read by this awesome writer and I enjoyed it immensely. It was so different than the WOLF'S HOUR but equally as good if not better. The action fans out there (such as myself), will be satisfied with this authors work because it is chock full of action aplenty! Now, its not senseless violence - each action sequence has its purpose and is skillfully done, sometimes frightingly so. This book grabbed me from the first chapter, and it didn't want to let you go. The storyline and characters are 1st rate in my opinion - and I have well over 30-years of experience in reading all genres. This guys the bomb! I have SWAN SONG and GOIN SOUTH next to read - and I can't wait!
