Summary: A must Read!
Review: "Mine" and "Swan Song" are my two favorite Mccammon books. Basically what this book is about is a woman out to get her baby back from another woman who stole her from the hospital. and boy are you in for a non-stop thrill ride. i read this in practically 2 days. i just could not stop reading it!! Excellant book i am surprised Hollywood has not made a movie out of it. Recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good but not his best
Review: 8 and a half really. It was a great book, but personally i liked Swan Song and Blue world better. Those two are a must read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Disturbing Real Life Drama
Review: Following in the foot steps of other writer's of the horror genre, McCammon makes the move from monster/super-natural horror and into the world of terror that lurks on the fringes of our society. A page turner about a woman who knows the meaning of the word "Mine."

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Do not read while pregnant!
Review: I am hot and cold on this book...I love McCammon's work, ie Swan Song and The Wolf's Hour, but this one was, for lack of a better descriptive term, OK. However, like the review title says- I read it while I was pregnant, and this book gets seriously creepy in parts! It's not a bad book, just not his best. But, it is worth the read, if only to see his descriptive prowess of Mary Terrell/Terror.

Summary: McCammon delivers
Review: I don't understand why he stopped writing. This was a damn good book, with lots of suspense and action. Not so much a horror story, but it does have some scary moments. Mary Terror is a violent, crazy character that can also be related to as someone who is left totally alone to cope with a world that has changed for everybody but herself. The only problem I could find with "Mine" was the ending, which seemed sort of abrupt. After everything else that happened throughout the story, I guess there
wasn't much more for the two main characters to go through. A well-written book that I would recommend. 4 and a half stars.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: I first read this book about 6 years ago, and I have never read a book so fast in my life I could not put it down, I have recommended this book several times, and I think its about due another read from me!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent psychological suspense
Review: I have read enough horror and suspense novels over the years that I do not get shocked or scared easily. McCammon's character Mary Terror was a truly scary person. The opening scene she has in the book hooked me until the end. The rest of the book was a close look inside a very sick and screw up mind. The only complaint I would make is the protagonist did not come off as the most likable person. She wasn't bad, but you didn't exactly pull for her with everything you had. You keep reading to get farther inside Mary Terror's head and then you're sorry that you did.

Summary: Mine
Review: I loved this book as I love all of his books. Did anyone else happen to notice that all the chapter titles were song titles or lyrics from the 60's? Mostly Doors songs..got a big kick out of that. Thanks Mr. McCammon

Summary: It was AWESOME!!
Review: I may only be 14 but it had me going until the end. It made me realize what kinds of things my parents went through in the 60's and 70's.

Summary: Years later
Review: I read this book about 10 years ago. This is not an author that I would normally read. I can't recall why I picked it up in the first place, however, after all these years, this is still a book that I can't get out of my mind. I still search the bookshelves of this author to see if he will write something else of this genre (no luck so far). Great characters all with "do it or die" mentalities. Edge of your seat suspense. One of my all time favorite books.
