Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was is not at all like the typical V.C Andrews story.
Review: The book was ok. I was surprised at how much different it was compared to the rest of the books she wrote. I think it was more for a teenager or young adult. I am probably not going to read the rest of this series.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: good but can't compare with original works
Review: The new books lack something V. C. Andrews gave to her work. Crystal was better than Butterfly and was a good short read. I keep reading but...I miss that something

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very dramatic and intense
Review: The novel "Crystal" has been like no other novel I've ever read. I am a huge V.C, Andrews fan and have been reading her books since I was 11 years old. But this book of the orphan who tries to find herself is sad, she thinks the people who are curious about her are her true friends when half of them aren't and love is not at all what she dreamed it would be. I still hope to read "brooke" though, hopefully it has a delightful ending.

Summary: VC Andrews has done it again!
Review: These orphan books are fantastic. You can really feel what the girls are feeling, and the book is a real page turner. I zipped right through it and can't wait for the next book!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A brainy girl, struggling through life as an orphan.
Review: This book was great, but not as good as the other ones. Crystal , is like the other orphans because she longs for a family with love, but when she gets adopted, she feels thet she now has what she's always wanted. But her new mom is out of touch with the real worl, and is trapped in the world of soap opearas. But when she starts to feel comfortable at home, a horrible phone conversation changes all that...

Summary: much better than butterfly, but had tons of room to improve
Review: This book, Crystal, is the second book in the Orphans Miniseries, a series much like the green mile by Stephen King, a collection of mini novels that equal one, and then a full novel at the end. I must say that I was very disappointed with butterly, but crystal was a nice surprise. it was a very quick read, and it was a little more interesting than the balerina stuff in butterfly that reminded me so much of Cathy and Julian in Petals on the Wind. Crystal and Bernie reminded me of Heaven and Troy a little, but it wasn't as obvious in this book, and I was surprised at the ending.Even though these books can never compare with the real V. C. Andrews novels, they're still good and I'm glad that they come out and I hope they continue to come out for years to come. (I just hope that the books go back on a mature level after this series, I feel like I'm reading and R. L. Stine book sometimes with these mini novels)

Summary: The smart girl with weird parents...
Review: This is the first Orphans book I've read in the series, and it's cool! I see there's some romance in here. Thelma is weird, basing everything on soap operas. Well, whatever, it's a good story.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One off the best books I have read from V.C. Adrews
Review: This one of the many books I have read. I love the twist and turns this story takes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Character Development - Finally!!
Review: This was a moving, touching novel. Though short, the author took the time to develop Crystal as a character, which didn't happen in Butterfly or Brooke. Crystal's character was strong and fought for herself, unlike the others. This was an exellent book and I recommend it to all who have enjoyed the novels of Andrews!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A novice V.C. Andrews reader
Review: This was the first V.C. Andrews book I have read and it was VERY good...I thought that the story was very touching, and it was an easy read, and it was very easy to follow. I can't wait for runnaways to come out so that we can get all the girls together...I plan on reading the others ASAP!!
