Rating: Summary: Enjoyable, but nothing new Review: This was the first book I read from Simon Clark (I've read 4 since then). I found this to be the weakest of his books. Too much wandering and too many coincidences to be believable for my taste. Nonetheless, it is well written. For new Clark fans, I would recommend trying "Darkness Demands" first - a darker and more mature novel.

Rating: Summary: Truly Spooky!!! Not for the faint hearted.... Review: Thoroughly enjoyed it! Blood Crazy is Lord of the Flies meets the Stand. From the opening pages to the end you felt involved in the story. As you're reading wondering, what caused the adult "mind crunch" to make the population murderously insane? Our young hero Nick Aten (rhymes with Satan), starts off as a typical youngster but ends the story a true hero. Perfect for the teeange crowd and for adults. Mr. Clark did a fantastic job of keeping the story moving along at a good pace. It also felt like a story of the Odyssey versus the Nite of the Living Dead. Lots of action. Some readers may have felt that the story was at times too violent. The truth be told, the end of the world is indeed unponderable and quite frightening. We as a rational people must be aware of those possibilities and learn to avoid them (i.e., man's terrible proclivity to self destruct). The story ending, which is interesing in and of it self, gives way to more possiblities of sequels and future conquest of the "creosotes".... HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you Mr. Clark.

Rating: Summary: Unexpected Surprise Review: Well, I must say that the book WAS something. I mean, first of all I'm one for knowing where I am when I read a book. It wasn't until I saw how some of the words were spelled and the constant use of "mum" and he made no usage of "fahrenheit" that I realized that it took place in the UK. There were quite a few intense moments, but, as one reader put it, it did kinda drag on and on. Nick was a prolific character, and I'm glad he was able to last throught the whole ordeal, and remained true to Sarah, ... I felt something should have been done about the bully.
Rating: Summary: The End of the World as we Know it!! Review: When I purchased this book I expected it to be like any other horror book that I've read lately; great beginning, let down ending. Boy, was I in for a shock! It was a rollercoaster ride! Not since a Steven King novel of about eight years ago, have I truly been this engrossed. All the characters, especially Nick Aten, were well written and you can actually experience the terror that they do! It was quite an experience and I highly recommend Blood Crazy to anyone who wants to read an engrossing and highly entertaining book. I LOVED IT!!!
Rating: Summary: The most gut-wrenching book ever! Review: When i started with the first page, I was automatically hooked on the entire book. Simon Clark really knows how to tell stories of the end of the world in a completely different way. If you love horror, then you will love this book.
