Summary: Final Book in Trilogy
Review: After nine long months, you would think Michael Olson would have somehow solved Alice McCoy's shady "suicide" two books ago in "The Party", but that's not the case here. Instead, Michael procrastinates for the entire school year before starting his investigation again on graduation day. That was probably the least convincing thing about "The Graduation". Michael always seemed like a highly intelligent and motivated guy, but for reasons all his own he decided to take a break from Alice's mysterious death.

Following their graduation ceremony at Tabb High, the main dozen or so characters in this trilogy have a chance to say their final farewells to each other, as well as celebrate like idiots on their senior cruise trip to Catalina aboard the Haven, which should have been christened the Titanic (hint, hint). Here the truth of what really happened that night at the party will be revealed. Unfortunately, the identity of the killer wasn't a big surprise to me. In fact, it was kind of disappointing since s/he had been acting suspiciously from the get go. But at least most of the romantic relationships end on a good note for a change, especially pertaining to the two main characters (Michael and Jessica).

Although Final Friends isn't my favorite series by Christopher Pike, it's still worth reading if you like teen murder mysteries--and especially if you have the time and patience to tackle this long-winded trilogy. If not, you might try some of Pike's other single mysteries, such as "Fall into Darkness", "Die Softly", or "Last Act", just to name a few.

Summary: My favorite book in the series!
Review: Although all of the books in this series are good, this one would have to be my favorite. Everything is solved and you find yourself saying "So that's what happened!!!" Nothing is left unresolved and everything turns out OK. In all of his books in this series you find yourself laughing outloud. This is my favorite series by Christopher Pike and some of my other favorite books by him include: "Remember Me", "Sati", and "Witch", although almost all of his books I've enjoyed. --Jessica

Summary: This is one of the best series of books I have ever read!!!!
Review: Christopher Pike has created a marvelous masterpiece yet once again. I have read every book he has ever written, even the adult ones. I felt as if I knew every single one of the characters. I figured out the ending before it ws even revealed. I was really happy about the way it ended. I really wish Pike would write another book about the gang because I really want to know how it ended.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read
Review: Christopher Pike has done it again!!! A great ending to a great series. This book is my favorite in this series. A must read for all Christopher Pike fans.

Summary: Great finish to a very compelling series.
Review: Final Friends is a series that is pretty good as a mystery/thriller, and surprisingly enough, it's even better when it comes to character development and romance. While I certainly did want to find out the identity of the killer, I was just as interested in knowing if Michael Olson and Jessica Hart would get together and how it would happen. Really, it's the best teenage romance I've ever read in a novel. A must read.

Summary: this was awful
Review: i can't believe christopher pike wrote this drivel. it's so boring! and long-winded! i figure it was early in his career though so i'll forgive him, but i just can't understand why this book has a 5 star rating! i didn't care about any of the characters. jessica was SO annoying - actually EVERY character was irritating! clark was the only one who was mildly interesting. everyone else felt almost like a cliche, but a really really bad cliche, cuz they were all warped cliches. very strange. i just didn't like it at all. to each her own. but seriously, to those who haven't read it yet, give the 1st book a try and if you don't like it, then just STAY AWAY!!!! i read the first one and then skimmed the 2nd & 3rd just to see the ending and make my own guess about who the killer was. yeah, i know, i'm a masochist at heart.

Summary: A VERY surprising ending...
Review: I had never even read the first book in this trilogy, but I had read the 2nd one, and just last week, I bought the 3rd one. This book was very suspenseful, and the ending was so shocking that I never even saw it coming.

Michael gathers a lot of clues to finding out the murderer (hint, it was not Clark, the dead Alice McCoy's mysterious boyfriend). On the senior all-night cruise trip to Catalina, he and Jessica reveal their true feeling for each other( after Jessica tries to get Bill to have sex with her and Sara tries to get Russ to do it with her, too. They even bought condoms and the like. Both guys refuse to, thank God). Michael (and Maria) gets everyone from the party (except Kats) to have a meeting. Michael tells everyone what he has found, and they all believe him.

This is my favorite part in the book, by the way. I can't say any other details, like who fired the gun shot, but that ultimately, the death of Alice was an accident. Read this book to find out all the details concerning everything that happened the night of the party when Alice died. Qian L.

Summary: Love and Suspense: everything you want
Review: I just finished reading this three book series. Christopher Pike has an awesome way of allowing the reader to suspect almost everyone of the crime. You are introduced to each character through Pike's style of parading through each character's mind, connecting the reader to the character's feelings. It is a great series; one that keeps you waiting for more. I recommend this book to all, especially any Pike fan's out there.

Summary: The best book ever
Review: I love the final friends trilogy this book was the best I thought about skipping straight to this book instead of reading the first 2 but if I'd have done that the tension wouldn't have been so great. I made the mistake of reading this book on a school night before I went to sleep. I didn't put it down until 5am and even then I didn't finish it. Unlike other books I've read I have to read each and every word incase I miss an important bit. I found that when I read this book the words turned to a movie in my head. There is a down side to reading Pike's books: I end up with Pike-Fever. When I get like 3 or 4 pike books I do nothing and go nowhere until I've read them all.
