Summary: One of the Best!!
Review: After Butterfly, this one was my favorite.I'm so happy that Raven stands up forself and then will take the punishment for it.However, the book says she is only 12.She seemed much older than that, and she was already in high school? Besides that I thought the book was excellent.

Summary: Butterfly, Crystal, Brooke and Raven, Raven is it.
Review: As I wait for the 5th book in the Logan series, I thought the "Runaway" series would be a good diversion, the first three almost copied one another just with different settings. Now Raven is totally V.C. Andrews, 4th but not final was the best. It has your domineering and cruel villain, the a pain in your side, always around causing trouble jealous relative, a sweet simpleton on your side but is will not stand up for you, and the ever sense of foreboding when turning each page. Raven will keep you interested from get go.

Summary: For Shame
Review: I absolutely detested this book, as well as the main character. It is the typical incest fest. Uncle Reuben is GW's typical perverted uncle. Jennifer is just like Clara Sue, the Cutler twins, and all the other bratty sisters and cousins. Reuben's wife was just like Aunt Sara from the Logan series, and dear old Sara isn't exactly the kind of character I would like to read about once, let alone a second, third, fourth time. ...

Summary: Raven: A 50/50 review
Review: I did not understand the V.C. Andrews was a horror writer until I entered this website. I too am a devoted fan having read all of her series religiously. Have we lost the definition of horror in these past years. I thought horror was Stepen King. But this is beside the point I felt Raven had some good qualities, but was a typical Andrews book. All in all we've lost the spirit in these measly 200 page books. What has happened to thick paperbacks from the past? Let's get them back ghostwriter!

Summary: great reading, but so good I read it in two days
Review: I enjoyed all the orphan series books and I have also read Runaways. I loved how they all got along and stood by each others like real sisters. My only regret is that they are so good that you can't put them down so I finished all of them too quickly. Now I have to wait for another book to be published. I am about to start Olivia so hurry up and publish another one. Thanks for such great reading material.

Summary: A true story of courage and devotion to morals
Review: I had read the other three books and I loved them all. I read Raven on a car trip to a retreat. I read in a matter of about two hours! I just couldn't put it down. Uncle Ruben could not have been in my family! And Jennifer, Raven handled the situation a lot better than I would have. If any of my cousins treated me like that, they would be missing about nineteen of their teeth! I really felt sorry for Raven, but I was so relieved that someone recognized the abuse before it got any worse. I only hope that Runaways will bring some resolution to these girls' lives, Janet, Crystal, Brooke, and Raven.

Summary: Runaways...
Review: i have been consistenly disappointed by the ghost writer for V.C. Andrews since the end of the Cutler series, but i trudge on. i get through it by rereading the Dollanganger and Casteel series over and over again. i was very disappointed in the Orphans series...it seems very trite, very middle-school age horror. these girls have no spunk. until Raven. i'm not saying this is the best book ever written by Ms. Andrews, but it has certainly redeemed the Orphans series. i only wish she had a little more fire in her spirit. i would recommend this series, but then turn you to My Sweet Audrina...~s~

Summary: Raven is the strongest of the four ophans, this book is good
Review: I HAVE BEEN READING V.C ANDREW BOOKS SINCE I WAS 10. I AM 24 YEARS OLD NOW, I HAVE ONLY ONE COMPLAINT.... I am black, none of her story lines involve strong, black females. I own the entire collection, I would like to pass these wonderful books down prouldly to my daughter.

Summary: Definately the best of the four mini-books
Review: I have read Butterfly, Crystal, Brooke, and Raven, and I must say, Raven was by far the best. It had a different plot, and she lived with family members...I felt very sorry for her, and it was interesting how all the girls met at the end. I hope the final Orphans book is as impressive.
