Summary: Stupendous!
Review: I loved this book. It had a great plot and I just thought it was great

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Good Book
Review: I really have enjoyed this series of books. I wish though that the books were longer. I can usually finish one in a couple of hours. I am then waiting for the next one to come out. The story lines are about the same however, each is a bit different. I can't wait for Runaways to be published.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Haven't I read this before?
Review: I really like this series, but Brooke seems too similar to the first book (Butterfly). I've enjoyed V.C. Andrews books for years and can't wait for Raven and Runaways to be released.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: V.C Andrews is majestic in her way with words!
Review: I think V.C Andrews books are sensational in all the possible ways. her books have romance, twists, and even a mystery sometimes. Brooke was truly impossible to put down. Perfect. I applaud this book royally.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty good
Review: I thought this one was pretty good.Although not my favorite. I'm so glad in the end that Brooke stood up for herself and what made her happy. Which took me surprise that the character was so strong-willed.Unlike some of her characters which have been know to 'give in'.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book in the world!
Review: I thought this was the best book I have ever read. For many reasons too. My name is Brooke and I play softball and I could relate to her so much. My grandmother gave me this book because she thought that I would like it because of the title and all of the softball. Only that Brooke loves the Yankees and this one loves the Braves. This book sticks with you. Even though I read it last summer along with the rest of the series, I still think about the characters. You all should read the rest of the series too. I just did not like how everyone treated Brooke because she seemed like a nice person. I hope everyone loves the book as much as I did.

Summary: terrible. please stop putting out these books.
Review: I was absolutely thrilled by the books that V.C. Andrews wrote...The Heaven Series, The Flowers In the Attic series, and My Sweet Audrina. Since she died @1990, this repetitive drivel has been published in her name. I bought the runaways series because I got a deal on buying them all together. I use them as coasters now. The books seem like they have been cut and pasted from Andrews' other novels. I will never buy another V.C. Andrews book. I'd give this series 0 stars if I could

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Kind of short, the same storyline as the last two, but good.
Review: I was exited to see that Brooke was out, as I am exited about every new book published under Andrew's name. I read it in one day, but it wasn't boring whatsoever. I think all three books' storylines are the same: a poor girl goes with a family, they are happy, and the mother is always obsessed about something, and that is usually the reason why the girl leaves, except in Crystal. I really love how the girls are coming together one by one. I can hardly wait for Runaways. I hope it will prove to be really good. I also can't wait for Raven, though the story line seems a little different than the first three, since the other girls don't really remember their mothers. I do agree that all of V.C. Andrews' book are the same. But I love all of them anyway.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: I would not recommend this book to most readers.
Review: If you haven't been getting much sleep lately than I suggest you attempt to read Brooke by V.C. Andrews. I feel that this book moved extremely slow and failed to capture my interest for very long. The book was about a girl named Brooke who was an orphan. She was abandoned by a mother who she barely knew. When Brooke received news that she was going to be granted a new home and family, her excitement grew. Brooke then became more lonely than she had ever been under the control of her superficial and materialstic new mother. All this girl wanted at first was for her new family to love her. Could Brooke find hapiness although circumstance seemed to be working against her?

This book can be related to many peoples' lives to a certain degree. For example, a number of people have parents which attempt to force them to follow the same career path which they chose to take. This can be seen in a popular movie which was out a few years ago called Richie Rich. In this movie the father of a boy overwhelms his child with the dream that he will be extremely rich and prosperous like he had become.

I recommend this book to insomniacs of all races, ages, and religions. If you try to read this book you will surely end up face down on your bed in no time. The subject matter of the book was not utilized anywhere close to its potential. So rather than read Brooke I suggest you just take a nap.
