Whoa this book is a sure screamer and you'll be scared.The main character is Chelsea Richards who is a scared and very new girl in the town. Se's a very shy teenager who has bever gone on a date and never been kissed.
One day she's working with her dad in his restaurant when something terrible happens. Then she meets will, a new shy boy in town too. They start to dateand really like each other. Now that they are going one dates................................... they........They.........THEY read the book to find out what happens.
People of older ages that really like horry and scary stories will like the book alotIliked this book and thought it was okThat is why I give it 4 stars.

Review: Chelsea Richards has never had a first date, but she's not the only new kid in town noticing that. Two boys, two new, cute boys ask her out. One is a shy, sweet boy who goes to her high school. The other is a rough, tough dropout she meets at her dad's coffee shop. Chelsea is so excited, her first date! How can she know that one of her "first" dates could lead to her funeral?The cast of characters includes Chelsea a pretty, young girl who plays the saxophone and is slightly overweight. She is timid and tolerant, but can be panicky at times. Will Blakely is humble, kind and shy, whereas, Tim Sparks gives the impression of being wild and tough. Nina, Chelsea's friend, is a short, cute blonde, slightly selfish at times, but also friendly, relaxed and easygoing. Although he may not use the greatest literary techniques, R.L. Stine does have the ability to build suspense that keeps you begging for more. Readers can relate to his language and true-to-life conflicts with ease. Stine promotes the mood of the novel with strong verb choices and some wonderful imagery. The author's point of view seems to wallow in the shadows of the plot, as a third person who is telling the story as though he knows what will happen. By leaving a little bit of foreshadowing at the end of each chapter, R.L. Stine can be sure that readers will not stop reading until Chelsea's fate is determined.

Review: FIRST DATE WAS PRETTY COOL! IT KIND OF REMINDED ME OF THE BOY NEXT DOOR THOUGH, BUT OTHER THEN THAT, IT WAS AN AWESOME FEAR STREET BOOK! I RECOMMENED IT!

Review: I liked it. It will keep you in to it, so you wont let you stop. He my have said, who the killer was to fast. But, it keep you reading did`nt it? You think it was one guy, then you know it`s the other one. Not the one she think`s it is. You know who the killer is but, she did not. So, I thought it was realy cool. The way the FBI ..... her and her ...... from the guy that was trying to .... them. R.L.Stine keep up the good work. I thought it was realy great, how she found out who it was.

Review: I love Rl Stine but this book was not one of his best!The whole story is about Chelsea Richards and Nina her friend, Chelsea just moved to Shadyside and doesn't have a boyfriend.One day at her fathers cafe she meets this one guy named Sparks and he seems like a bad boy type of guy and she also meets a nice guy and he is also new!! So, she decides to go out with with him, but did she make the right choice???
I gave it 3 stars because in the begining it tells you who is bad and who is nice! ...So it is an ok book.
