Summary: The best in hardcore horror fiction
Review: The taboo topics that this book brings up make it uncomfortably gruesome. However, it is amazingly imaginative. I would rate it as the best horror story I've read in decades. By the craftmanship of this novel, I almost suspect it is a pseudonym work of King or Koontz. It may have been too grizzly for their real name.

Review: There are no words appropriate enough to fully describe the intense horror that this story tells. The author has completely outdone himself in the horror genre with this book. And I believe that he has outdone any other horror book written by anyone else too! I wish that I could find this book again. I hope that soon this book will be in print again...I'll be first in line for my copy!

Review: This book is too good to be true! It is impossible to put down once you've began reading it. It's totally sick, twisted, morbid, and just plain gross. Yet, at the same time, it's mesmerizing. You'll be drawn in and will never be the same again. This book will haunt you. If you only want the best in gory horror, read this book!

Review: This is the hardest book to find. People that own it must be holding on to it with both hands! I spent years trying to get it and finally succeeded! John Gideon hit it on the mark with this gruesome, horrific tale. His descriptions form in your mind and freak the daylights out of you. This is the best book for horror lovers! Now that I own it, I treat it like gold. I won't even loan it out. I dare anyone to find a book that horrify's and sickens you as much as this one does. A perfect score for a perfect book. It will haunt you forever! GET THIS BOOK!!

Review: This one of the only books I have read that actually scared me. The only other book was Golden Eyes, also by John Gideon. I love how he incorporates real places in the northwest into his books. Being from the northwest, it is good to read books about it, especially horror ones. I am currently reading his latest and greatest books, Kindred. So far it is just as good as the others. I think one of the greatest things about his vampire stories is that they are so original. He doesn't have Bela Lagosi type vampires, he creates his own breed of Vampire. This is the best way to write about vamires I believe.
