Rating: Summary: A must have for Buffyholics!!! Review: If you are one of the many people that will do anything to get their hands on Buffy stuff, this is for you! It's a great novelization of three episodes, and we all know how great they are! A definate must have for any Buffy fan!
Rating: Summary: Amazing! Leaves you wanting more. Review: I loved this book. The love between Buffy and Angel was very sweet. It's almost like Romeo&Juliet. They truly love each other, yet their love is forbidden. I watch the show myself, and the book brought together all the emotions created in the show and made you feel them all over again.
Rating: Summary: It Was Terrific Review: I missed the first episodes of Buffy and this told be about how Angel and Buffy got together in the first place.
Rating: Summary: terrific Review: This book does a great job of recreating three episodes from the show. If you are looking for Angel's point of view, don't buy it, but if you are looking to keep a written version of episodes to your BTVS collection than it is definitely a keeper!
Rating: Summary: Nothing new Review: When I first heard about The Angel Chronicles, I was excited! At last! One of the Buffy books would be including Angel. Maybe we'd finally get some insight into the guy! Instead, we just get a repeat of three episodes! There was nothing wrong with the writing. I thought that Nancy Holder did a great job descriping the episodes, but I was really hoping for something different - like maybe the stories being told from Angel's point of view.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely loved it! Review: This is the best Buffy novel so far, besides The Harvest, since it is adapted straight from the episodes of the show, and it written well. It gives new insights on things you may not have noticed, and it tells you what the characters are thinking/feeling if you didn't pick up on them when you watched the episodes. It has amazing full colour pictures of the cast, publicity photos, and stills from the show. Lie To Me was especially good. (Cause of Spike and Drusilla) Write more books like this, please!
Rating: Summary: Buffy fans will love this well-written novelization Review: The writer does an excellent job of capturing all the details from the TV episodes as well as adding her own unique insights into the characters' thoughts and feelings. Most importantly, the writer successfully communicates the essence of the show's characters and its trade-mark wit throughout the book. I loved it.
Rating: Summary: It was mildly ok, but it was just like the eposodes. Review: It could have been better. All they did was spit out the lines from the show. If you have seen the show the book gets boring. Who wants to read something that they already know. The reason I gave this book three stars was because it is the only book so far that has Angel in it. I'm definatly an Angel fan. The book had no insight into what the charecters were thinking when they said the lines, which was very dissapointing. I had expected feeling. I would much rather read a book that contains new Angel information or missing parts between each eposode.
Rating: Summary: I liked the book! Review: I have just recently started watching the show and was curious how Buffy met Angel. This book gave me lots of info and it was a good book that follows the show really well.
Rating: Summary: Very interesting.... Review: This is a wonderful book, very quick read, and great dialouge. I highly recommend this book if you're a big Buffy fan, but if you're not all that familiar with the series, you might be a little lost. Nancy Holder has excellent writings skills, but she uses the same words way too much for me. Oh, there are some nice color photos in the book, and the cover displayed here at Amazon.com isn't the one on the book. All in all, a great read, and it comes highly recommended:-)Nos
