Summary: Terrific start
Review: I thought I would mind the shorter books, but this is a great way to get into a major series. I like the idea that there is a new character every month for four months and then a big book bringing them together. Brilliant and it reads so well. It's like watching a television show!

Summary: Loosing the magick...
Review: The book was OK but only and just OK. Usually, books with Andrews' name on it are pretty decent though not as good as V C Andrews' own works. I was quite diappointed when I read this "Misty" book. I agree with the others and think that the ghostwriter should stick to longer, more intruiging novels b/c these miniseries are lacking the magick that the previous books had. I will keep reading however because I LOVE V C ANDREWS! :)

Summary: 3 stars for the name only
Review: YAWN....excuse me, was I sleeping? I dreamt I was reading FLowers In The Attic, boy was I ever wrong !!!

Summary: What happened to the thick novels!!
Review: What ever happened to the thick novels filled with gripping tales of family and deceit? This book was good but it was definately not by V.C. Andrews. I believe that she would have been mad that this book wasn't more gripping and longer. I don't like the fact that you have to buy a tiny book and you read it immediately and then you have to wait months to read the others. I want the long novels back.

Summary: IT'S THE WORST SINCE HER DEATH
Review: I HAVE READ VC ANDREWS BOOKS SINCE I WAS 11 YEARS OLD. SINCE HER DEATH THESE "COPY CAT" WRITERS HAVE MANGLED HER NAME AND MADE A MOCKERY OF ALL OF HER LOYAL READERS. THEY SHOULD JUST LET THIS VERY TALENTED AUTHOR REST IN PEACE. NO NEED TO DESTROY HER AFTER HER DEATH.

Summary: Hooks Your Interest from the Beginning
Review: This is a much better series because it gets you deeper and deeper into the lives of the girls as you read. I especially enjoyed the comments by Jade. I guess I'm more like her, but the other girls fascinate me. What a great setup for a series....should be a television series. It's that Good!

Summary: Not at all what I had expected
Review: I have been reading VC Andrews books for a few years now and was extremely disappointed with the Orphan series. It was a disgrace to her name. I bought Misty yesterday expecting it to be just as bad as the Orphan series, but as a loyal reader I bought the book anyway, and I was shocked when I started reading it today. I could not put it down. Misty's story intrigued me. In fact, her feelings reminded me of my own. I can't wait to read about Star, Jade, and Cat. If you'd like to email me to talk about one of her books (I've read all of them) then please do so, but for now I will be impatiently awaiting the arrival of Star.

Summary: The most subtle and sophisticated yet
Review: I read a reader who thought these books weren't for older people. Don't be fooled by the size. The concept is terrific and if you read carefully, you can see that something very sophisticated and fascinating is being woven slowly like a web. I will charge out to get the next one. So should you.

Summary: it's o.k. but v.c. was better
Review: when i started reading these books years ago i liked them a lot. i still read them, but the thrills are not as chilling and warped as they were. i can tell that this is not v.c. andrews writing these books. they are just her story stylings. to bad the new author does not write longer more intricate tales, just these shorts. it's still better than nothing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Clever and real
Review: Misty is one of the best yet because you can read about each girl in any order. They weave in and out. What a great idea. I think I'm one of these girls, too because I keep saying yes to every comment she makes.
