Summary: Good writing style, but slow
Review: Granted, I do go for the novels with quick thrills and chills. I like action, things happening, sharp dialogue. None of these were present in this book. I liked "Ghosts" and was excited to read this book, but frankly, it disappointed me. I can handle a few "close calls" to keep one guessing, but over and over again? It frustrated me and I stopped reading it halfway through. Try "Ghosts" if you want a sharp, thought-provoking and chilling book!

Summary: Scary, Sweet and Fun
Review: I adored this book, especially Billy Carlton, the silent movie actor turned ghostly babysitter. The terror is there. The sense that every sound you hear might just have a supernatural basis is there. The bet thing of all, though, is the real sense of a spirit who although adrift from the moorings of his physical identity remembers and cares and tears through the veil between life and death to see that right prevails!

Summary: Basically not as good as Ghosts.
Review: I agree with everyone else in most of the comments. He describes everything in the book very vividly and you do feel like part of the story when reading it. It didn't catch my interest until about 150 pages in - it just wasn't as good as his other novel 'Ghosts' which i would recommend to everyone who thinks they might enjoy this book. Ghost was great from the beginning, and kept you interested all the way through - with a much better twisted ending.

Summary: Gave me chills!
Review: I first read this book 2 years ago, and I am planning on reading it again. I remember that I was really into it, I couldn't put it down, and in certain parts, I remember getting the chills, etc. I was quite scared. I haven't read one of Noel's books since, but now that I am planning on rereading this one, I just might head over to the bookstore to buy another Noel Hynd book.

Summary: Great book
Review: I liked this book a lot. Only a day or two to finish it. Great ending.

Summary: UNBELIEVABLE!
Review: I read this book in one day, scared out of my mind, wondering what each and every noise was that I heard! This isn't the type of book I normally read, but I am a die-hard Noel Hynd fan now. I loved this book so much, in fact, that I told everyone I know to go by themselves a copy, because I couldn't stand to part with my own!

Summary: This novel brought me back to supernatural reading!
Review: I stopped reading these types of books years ago. However, upon recommendation I found myself buying Cemetary. WOW! In one weekend I managed to read more than half. This is well written, with great descriptions, dialogue and thought within. I was hooked right from the start when Rebecca was nearly killed. I am now at the part where he is returning to finish the job. I can't wait to get home and finish

Summary: Utterly Silly
Review: I went into this book with high hopes, after reading the reviews the other readers gave it. What a huge disappointment I was in for. ALL of the characters were unbelievable, the plot was ridiculous, and the ending was so far out there I didn't know whether to laugh or throw the book across the room in disgust. I will never read another Noel Hynd book again. This was a waste of my money.
