Review: There was a recent cheesy TV movie based on this book. Forget about the movie, put it out of your mind, these are totally different things. This is a brilliant mystery. I'm very familiar with Pike's books, I usually know the ending of a mystery by the first few pages, but this one totally threw me. The end is awesome and unexpected. Read it

Review: This book is just so fab! I first started reading Christopher Pike books two years ago, because I love mysteries. It was Goosebumps books for me at the age of 10, then other R.L.Stine books, then Christopher Pike, I'm 14 now. Every book I read, I just can't put down! Christopher Pike creates the most amazing atmospheres, plots, and ideas. This book was exceptionally good, it's in my top three books by him (if he is a male, could be a pen name). You already know what it's about from the other reviews and things, so all I can say is go out and read it! I would totally luv to see the movie, Jonathan Brandis is a babe! He's even born on my brother's bday. But because this is Australia, I aint seeing the movie, and all our book covers look totally diff from USA's. I just *wuv* this book heaps... - Calli

Summary: fall into darkness
Review: This book was good, but not one of his best books. There was a lot on how she was in court, which was mostly talking, I would have liked it more if there had been more action. The person who I had thought was the murderer, turned out to be, that was also a downer.
One of the good points, is that he potrayed his characters real well, he described them amazingly, and I thought they could have been real people. There is jealousy, murder and passion in this book. Good combinations.

Summary: Ann Rice Is the Perfect Anti-Hero
Review: This is clearly one of my favorite Pike novels. The story is about two best friends; Ann Rice and Sharon McKay. When Ann's younger brother commits suicide, she blames Sharon, and decides that the only way she will ever rest is if Sharon suffers for what she has supposedly done. She sets up the most bizarre revenge scheme, and even stranger, pulls it off. But at a great cost. Just as interesting is the glimpse Pike gives into the world of law, and one girl's unfortunate experiences with it. This book was turned into a made-for-tv-movie, which was not half as good. If you want the story, read the book.

Review: this is the first Christopher Pike book ive ever read.....i thought it was wounderful...the way he acts out the plot is fabulous....i had no idea the book would turn out the way it did it suprised me.......but i loved the book!!!!
