Summary: This book was very suspensful, it was filled with surprise.
Review: This book, The Hitchhiker was very suspensful. It always kept me wanting to turn the page. It's about a man named James wanting a ride, but getting much, much more then he bargained for. He was picked up by two girls ready for adventure. At first he was just an ill-tempered young man. One girl loved the adventure the whole way; the other was suspicious of the man and his bad temper. He loved the one girl so much he waned to ride with them anywhere they went. James decided to drop by his cousins house for a little bit, but the only reason was to get the 50 bucks he owed him. When James left with a smile on his face and the money in his hand he was satisfied. His causin accused him of stealing his own wallet, but he said it over and over I did not steal your wallet. Christina and Terri are ready to go so they fire up the car and thinking to themselves James had done it. All through the middle of the book the group hears reports on the radio about an old man getting killed by a hitchhiker. The girls wonder if it was James. They knew he had a bad temper, but would he get angry enough to kill a man. As the book unfolds the suspense builds. At the end you'll know it is James or just a couple girls trying to have fun. I recomend this book to all ages, especially young readers. Please read THE HITCHHIKER by R.L.Stine.

Summary: One of the best Point Horrors...
Review: This is probably one of the early Point Horrors that I read, and is definitely one of the best. Stine's creation of suspense and tension throughout the novel was great, and the ending was such a shock. This is classic. A definite recommendation to all fans of the horror genre....

Review: This was a good and interesting book. Every chapter makes you keep on reading.

In this book two girls, Terri and Christina, were on a road trip. On their way they picked up a hitchhiker named James. James insisted they stop at his cousin's house. His cousin Paul got angry and they left. Then strange things began to happen. first, they were being followed and then Terri disappeared overnight. Last, the car was gone. Read the book to find out what else happens to these travelers.

Summary: SENSATIONAL!
Review: unlike some of R.L.'s usual simple, obvious, yet entertaining books, comes this hip (and one of his first) book! The story line is complex, and frightfully hard to predict, you won't be able to put it down until you find out who-dun-it!
