Summary: Spooky good time
Review: A Review by Johnny

The book The hitch hiker is a groovy book. The book is about two girls that just got their drivers license and decide to go on a road trip , what they don't know is they got in store for them. On the way there they find a man who wants a ride. The book kept me on the edge and I could not set it down. If you like scary good times you should read this book.

The book was very scary and fun .In some parts in the book I got confused because of the triky word play. Over all I really loved this book!!!

I recommend this book to little boys and little girls looking for a fun fun book to read.

Summary: The Hitchhiker is about two girls who pick uo a hitchhiker.
Review: Did you ever hear someone tell you that hitchhiking is a very dangerous thing to do? Well, in the novel The Hitchhiker , written by R. L. Stine, the hitchhiker is in for a surprise. The book was well written, had lots of actoin, and was very mysterious. Christina and Terri, two high school students were in Key West partying during spring break. On there way home, they pick up James, a hitchhiker from Key West. He doesn't know that it could be a thrilling ride. Unfortunatly, they experience troubling times together and get along almost to the end of the book, but didn't know they would be separated. The characters in The Hitchhiker are very cool. They have realistic personalities. The characters are very believable. Christina is a teenager who likes to party and likes to take risks. Terri, her best friend, is very catious and doesn't like to pick up or talk to strangers. James is a hitchhiker from Key West, who has had a very bad past, and wanted to get away from Key West for a while. Teh ending is the best part because the conclusion has many twists. This book is a great book to buy if you like scary and action packed books. If you read this book, you might find some goosebumps all over.

Summary: The reason why not to get in the car with a hitchhiker
Review: I recommend this book to anyone that loves mystery or scary stories. As Christina and Terri are driving down the street Christina says, " 'Hey, look at the hitchhiker, he's cute, looks like a killer.' Terri said, 'Christina--I don't like this.' 'What could happen?' "Christina responds. Another, reason why I recommend this book, because it tells that you should never get in car with a stranger. At the beginning Terri tried to tell him it was a mistake. "That's why I was so cruel to you when we first met, I was trying to warn that you got yourself into trouble with us." In conclusion, if you like reading mystery books or a scary story for a sleepover I recommend that you read this book.

Summary: The Hitchhiker
Review: I thought this was a very good book. All through out the book you were always waiting to see what was going to happen next. the book was also easy to follow and read. There was also interesting events happening through out the book.

The best part in the book was when Christina and James were trying to hitch a ride. When someone finally pick them up they were very happy. Then when the driver said something happiness suddenly turned into fear.

There was two really good things the author did. One was their was exellent conflict in the book. The climax in this book was great! You couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.

Summary: The same murder book all over again
Review: R.L Stine is a great author but sometimes he uses the same ideas over again. If you have read The Boy Next Door(Fear Street)you'd see my point. This is a great suspense book for other readers who are new to R.L stine but not for readers who read a similar book.

This book is about a Hitch Hicker named James who wants to get away from Key West as soon as possible,so he hitches with Christina and Terri who are headed to Cleveland. But strange thinks happen that make you very suspicious. This book is pretty boring until the end!

Summary: " The Hitchhiker"
Review: The Book "The Hitchhiker" is about two girls named Christina Jenkins and Terri Martin who are vacationing in Florida. They are on their way to Tampa and then they're going back home to Cleveland. On their way to Tampa they pick up a hitchhiker named James. He decides to go with them since he has a cousin in Tampa who owes him money. Terri doesn't like the idea but Christina thinks James is cute and she wants an adventure.
Christina is the type of girl who is carefree and calm and loves to party. Unlike Christina, Terri is very cautious and careful. She is often worried or nervous. For some reason she is afraid of James.
When they arrive in Tampa, they find James' cousin's house, and stay there for a night.
The next morning James announces that he will go with the girls to Cleveland for no apparent reason other than he doesn't like Florida. Terri thinks he is running away from something in Florida. She is upset about the decision. Christina is excited.
As they were about to leave, Paul ( James' cousin ) ran outside announcing his wallet was stolen. He blamed James because James was the only person who knew about the 1,000 dollars in his wallet. Or did somebody else know about the wallet?
Without Paul getting his wallet back, James punched him hard and drove off with the girls.
Late that night, on their way to Cleveland, Terri realizes they are being followed by another car. Who could it be? They don't know....
They decided to stay in a motel that night. The next morning Terri disappeared. Christina and James could not find her anywhere. Christina had the keys to the car so she decided she would go with James to look for Terri.
As Christina and James walked to the parking lot they realized the car was missing too! But how? Christina had the only key right in her hand. Since they couldn't find Terri or the car they decided to hitchhike out of town... But what happened to Terri? What happened to the car? What happened to the person following them?
It is all told in the ending of "The Hitchhiker". If you decided to read this book you are most likely to be shocked by the outcome.

I enjoyed the book "The Hitchhiker" very much. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next! It was very suspenseful! It was one of those books where you keep wanting to turn the page to see what's going to happen next! The climax was very exciting!
I would recommend this book for anyone that likes mystery or horror books. I think all ages would enjoy this book, especially young readers. It was a very interesting book!

Summary: An Awesome Horror Book.....
Review: This book is one of the best horror books I have ever read. It really keeps you on your toes, wondering what's going to happen next. The book starts off with Terri and Christina picking up a hitchhiker named James. James is very peculiar to Terri, but extremely attractive to Christina. After driving and talking for awhile, James convinces them to stop at his cousin, Pauls' house. James claims that he just wants the girls to meet him, but James really wants to pick up some money that his cousin owed him. While at his cousins, Pauls' wallet is stolen. Paul and the girls suspect it is James that stole it, but they don't know for sure. Paul won't let James leave until he gives him his wallet, but James tells him he doesn't have it. Paul and James get in a fight, and James punches Paul. Terri and Christina, both terrified, start the car, planning on leaving James. James jumps in the car at the last minute. While driving, Terri and Christina hear that there's a killer roaming about. They don't think anything of it, until they hear that the killer is a hitchhiker. Both immediately turn to James suggesting he is the killer. Is James the killer, or is there something we don't know, read "The Hitchhiker" to find out. I gave this book four stars. I gave it four stars, because the book kept me interested. I couldn't put it down, because I was always wanting to find out what happened next. I also gave it four stars, because I thought that the plot was really good. There aren't many books about hitchhikers out there, that's what made this book so unique. The last reason I gave it four stars, was because of its easy reading. The book was fairly easy to read, and it targets all age levels. The book challenged me, but I didn't have to use a dictionary to look up words I didn't understand.
