Rating: Summary: Haunted Ohio 4 Review: HAUNTED OHIO 4 is a book full of short stories about ghosts. These stories are true, as told by the people who experienced them. These hauntings are from all over Ohio. There are stories about pets that come back to haunt, ghosts who leave things such as money, and ones who take things like macaroni. I liked this book because it really makes you wonder if ghosts are real, and if there really could be haunted places. One thing I didn't like about this book was that there is too much extra detail, which lets your attention drift away from the book. In my opinion, HAUNTED OHIO 4 is a good book that should be read by anyone who likes ghost stories.

Rating: Summary: BUY THE WHOLE SERIES! Review: Haunted Ohio IV is the final book in Chris Woodyard's series on ghostly happenings in Ohio. Each book contains numerous true stories ranging in length from several paragraphs to about eight or so pages, making for an easy read. The author effectively mixes historical background with contemporary ocurrences. She includes lots of dialogue so the reader almost feels like a participant. Just a few of the subjects in #IV: houses of horror, ghostly relatives, strange and ghostly animals, haunted inns and taverns, multiple hauntings, and two appendices - mini-fright bites, and haunted sites open to the public. I started with II, then bought IV and am now adding the other two books. Well-written and highly entertaining, even for those who eschew such phenomena.
Rating: Summary: bone chilling stories Review: I have all of the haunted ohio books and I have read every spine tingling page and was totally mezmorized by all of the stories. I love anything scarey and these books are one of my favorite things to read when I i am ready to be be scared
Rating: Summary: I can't get enough of Haunted Ohio! Review: If you have read any of the other Haunted Ohio books by this author and liked them, you won't be disappointed. Every home in Ohio should have this set on their shelves. This volume has some updates from volume 1, including the Air Force museum. Read it on a dark night...
Rating: Summary: Some truly bone-chilling stories! Review: If you have read any of the other Haunted Ohio books by this author and liked them, you won't be disappointed. Rating: Summary: I can't get enough of Haunted Ohio! Review: The latest (but hopefully not last!) entry in the Haunted Ohio series is jam packed with the chilling, matter-of-fact ghost stories Chris is known for. From the terrifying prelude (remind me NEVER to stay in the Ft. Magruder Inn in Williamsburg, VA) we move on to "Houses of Horror" (the prelude to "The Hunger" in this chapter makes me think Chris could have a great career as a novelist) and "Haunted Highways" (be sure to watch out for "The Phantom Driver of Old 40") and on to ghostly relatives, animal ghosts and ugly apparitions you'd never want to meet. The tale of Chris's exploration of the old Piqua Hotel is alone worth the price of the book! Plus another fastinating appendix of "Fright Bites." I surely hope there'll be a Haunted Ohio 5!
Rating: Summary: Good Book For Halloween Review: This is a great book for people that like ghost stories. Some of the stories are good and some of them are dumb. A good story is the one about the hidden driver. Some of the ones that are bad is the one were some people hear a noise and they think that it was a ghost. It is kind of a hrd book to under stand, but over all it is a good book. The book is about Chris Woodyard going around Ohio and finding ghost stories. I have read a similiar is called the Bone Collecter. It is about a murder that kill people and leaves a bone clue.I think that you should at least read one of the hauted ohio books.
Rating: Summary: Creepy, scary, and bone-chilling. Review: This is an excellent book for someone who loves a good ghost story. The reason I like this book is because it's true. Haunted Ohio IV is a sacry, but very good book. It chills you and excites you at the same time. Not good for bed time reading, unless yuo want to have nightmares. An excellent book. A must for anyone who likes a good scare
