Review: A great book with a scare on every page!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was a WEIRD book!
Review: After reading THE NEW EVIL (the fourth installment of the Cheerleaders series), I heard about a fifth one out and bought it immediately. It wasn't Stine's worst or best book, but it was (in a way) different from the other four. There are five parts in this book. Parts one and two are EXTREMELY boring, and part three is WEIRD!! It's only two chapters, but whoa! a lot of stuff happens in them. The ending was pretty stupid, so overall it was an okay book, but my personal fave was the fourth one (The New Evil).

Summary: The evil that keeps going, and going and going
Review: Corky Corcharan and the Shadyside high sheerleaders thought that they'd never see the evil again, of course, after destroying it a good healthy four times, who'd think it'd come back for a fifth? Corky must now fight the final battle with the evil. It keeps getting better and better! Even after FIVE books, the Cheerleader saga still has that old chill that never dies! with new surprise at every turn!

Summary: Cheerleaders: The Evil Lives! A GREAT BOOK!
Review: First of all.. I feel compelled to direct this review to **What in the...?, January 6, 1999 Reviewer: Alexia from Kentucky, USA:

Your comment about no characters from the previous novels being in this.. well.. people have to die and/or get older to make a series seem even semi-realistic.. as far as the history.. "The Awakening Evil" explains the entire history of the evil.. I hardly think that this review was fare for this book.. But everyone has a difference of opinions but, I would NEVER call any book "stupid".

This book is a 4th in a series (The First Evil, The Second Evil, The Third Evil) and I think it is wonderfully well written with deliciously frightful turn of events.. You won't be able to put this down. However if you plan to buy the series, you should get "The Awakening Evil" as well.. This book brings fresh blood into terrifying events.. but leaves you wondering.. Did they really kill the evil for good?

Summary: Is RL Stine going downhill in his writing or what?!?
Review: First thing, I loved the Cheerleaders 1-3 mostly because Corky was the main character. In this book she wasn't which was the first thing that made it bad. Second, it was over with in the third book. It didn't need to come back. But don't listen to me, after reading Christopher Pike's books I've hated the way RL Stine writes. I want to be a writer and I'd never take after Stine!

Summary: Where is Corky?!!!!
Review: I enjoy R.L. Stine, but this was his worst book ever. I have all the cheerleader books and I recently picked this garbage up. While it does follow the basic plot of the other cheerleader noviels this one is simple not well written. My ultimate question is Where is Corky? She should be the one to destroy the evil not some washed up has been. I'm extremly disappointed and may never buy another one of his books.

Summary: Creepy!1
Review: I gave my best friend the book for X-mas before I bought it for myself. She opened it to the first page on the bus and began to read. I swear, she turned so white that I thought she was sick! She showed me the page. It was a complete description of me right down to my name. I tthought this was one of his best books

Summary: It was Cool and Weird!?
Review: I thought this book was ok when I read it. I really liked the books about Sarah Fear and Jane Hardy, and the ones about Corky, Debra, Ronnie, Kimmy, and Bobbie. My favorite was probally the first evil. I have read the First,Third, and New Evil. I have read the book about Jane Hardy and Sarah fear when the Evil first started, and The Evil lives with Amanda and her friends. That one was cool and weird at some points. But My absolute Favorite Was the first evil!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: I expected much more out of it.
Review: Let's face it. It was a cool book, but the evil spirit stuff has gotten old. How many times is it gonna come back?
