Review: I thought the first book was a lot better. This one seemed a bit unneccessary. It was also kind of slow with far too many references to religion for my taste. I found there were more characters I hated than I liked. It was well written, but it was a little boring.

I think this is a great book to read if you often wonder about what it would be like to die and then have a second chance to live. I liked the way Sherrie could be both on earth as jean and in the after life with riki and peter. The book kept me in suspense. I recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense and mystery.

Summary: Too Cool!
Review: I usually don't like to read, but in this case I had to. I had to read A book for my Language Arts class. I just have to say that I am soooo glad I read this story! At first I was like, oh cool, a young people story. Towards the middle and end though, I couldn't put it down! This is by far the best story I have ever read, and I totally look forward to reading the other 2. Also, I think Christopher Pike is most definitely a genius!

Review: Shari Cooper has been dead for a year. When she finds out that she can go back to earth without bieng born again, she gladly accepts the offer. Little does she know that when she returns, she wont remember a thing.
Jean Rodrigues is a teenager living in the ghetto who is addicted to pot and is pregnant with her boyfriends baby. Jean is depressed and wants to die. When the balcony at her boyfriends apartment collapses, she is taken into the hospital. When she wakes up, she isn't like the Jean before...now she is more caring, and she writes stories. Stories that she wants to get published. But she keeps getting flashes--flashes of sayings she hasn't heard in her life, but seem oddly familiar. Will she ever find out what the heck is going on? Or will she keep wondering about who she really is? This book is almost as good as the first one. It was really great how Sherri was in Jean's body, and yet she was still in the afterlife with the Rishi and Peter.

Summary: I am never completly satisfied
Review: The story is mostly about how Shari is in the "other relm" and about her trainer telling her what is going to happen. She is in Jean's body but not completly. It was very confusing. I think the switch wasn't permenant until the end.

Review: This book was great and really did justice to the the first. The only problem I have with the book is how much the book got bogged down in the begging with all the New Age stuff but the ending and great character devolpment saved this book from a 4. This book really is for everyone and a must read for fans of Pike or Remember Me.
