The gem of the collection is Jerry Raik's story, "Forgive Me," which is haunting and redemptive and wholly satisfying for kids as well as adults. Check out the cover, too. It's very bizarre!

Review: What a great book! My nephew is big into spooky stories and loves Harry Potter and all that sort of stuff. I checked out JPS and saw their latest kid's book offered 10 different stories, all supernatural and all Jewish. I couldn't resist the urge to read it for myself before handing it over as a gift. Very nifty and the black & white artwork was terrific. Needless to say, several nights later my nephew thanked me for the book with a hug and a smile.
