Summary: Pretty good, but....
Review: "Twelve ultra-smart, ultra-competitive kids have been selectedto take part in a survival competition called Life Games.

Not only will they have to overcome the dangers of life on atropical island, they'll also have to face the evil presence thatlives there ... waiting for its next victim.

What Scares You the Most?

April is stranded on the island! She's desperate to escape and get back to her normal life. But April's life will never be normal again. Because someone -- or something -- evil will follow her home, using her deepest fears against her." -- From The Book Description

Pretty Good, but not near as fast paced as the first book, unfortunately. Actually, the title DOES have something to do with the book, but the cover does not (not that I can find!). I still think the book is good, so I recommend it for readers 8+.

Summary: Disappointing!
Review: After Fear Games, I was expecting another fast paced mystery adventure like part one. But I was SO disappointed. It is arguably one of the worst books I have ever read. It is so ridiculous and confusingly annoying. R.L.Stine totally ruined what could possibly have been a fantastic idea. The cover doesn't relate to the book at all, and neither does the title. Incredibly disappointing, I was expecting a lot more. R.L. better make up for it with part three..........

Summary: The Nightmare Room Thrillogy continues with book two.
Review: April and her teammates in the Life Games have been deserted on the island. The adults and the rest of the kids have sailed away, leaving them with no food and no way off the island. But they are far from alone. An evil presence is with them. In 1680, a young girl named Deborah was banished from her English village to the very same island after her evil mother framed her for witchcraft. But through a deception of her own, Deborah managed to trap her mother on the island and return to England, although never to the village of her birth. Now, her mother lives on, staying alive through the life forces of others, determined to have her revenge for what her daughter did to her. Not only are April and her friends stranded on the island, but their very lives are in danger from the evil witch. This was a thrilling continuation of the Nightmare Room Thrillogy, as begun in book one, Fear Games. I can't wait to read the third and final book, No Survivors.

Review: I loved this book and couldn't put it down. The blerb doesn't say much so you'll have to find out for yourself. I did and it had mystery. This book focuses on Sam and starting a new school, because he was kicked out of his old one. The imp picks him to be tortured and Sam get's him really mad by stealing the tail. Well worth the money.

Summary: Best book I ever read!
Review: I think this book is the best book in America. I read a lot of R.L. Stine books, I read them every day. I read this whole book in less than a day. And I am not kidding, you better believe me. I especially liked the part where the danger followed April from the island back to her home. I can't wait for "No Survivors" to come out.
