This is a very erotic novel, with some really hot lesbian love scenes, and Mr. James did sort of play with the vampire legend and change it around some. In his version of the vampire world, when a vampire is killed he comes back as a vampire hunter with all a vampire's powers, and he isn't hindered by those silly vampire restrictions. He can hunt during the day and he doesn't need blood.

Now about the lesbian business, it's done well and even if you're a raging hetero like myself, those scenes will make you think. I loved this five star book.
