Summary: Awesome Read!
Review: This was the first Owl Goingback book that I read and I can say that it was a wonderful read. I bought this book not knowing anything about Goingback or his books and I could not put it down until I had finished reading it. I do not know much about Indians or their rituals, but this book has made me very interested in their culture. I like to read at night before I go to sleep and I am a big fan of Dean Koontz, but Dean has never given me the eerie feeling that Goingback did with this book. I found myself looking over the top of the book, just to make sure nothing was hiding in the shadows. Read this book if you want to know what I am talking about.

Summary: Duller Than Dull
Review: What a letdown!

This is the type of book with sentences like this:

"There was something in the shadows. And it was getting closer."

Or:

"She knew she heard something. And whatever it was, it was getting louder. And closer."

And so forth. Just dreadful writing, and the husband and wife are CONSTANTLY grinning or smiling at one another.

Such as:

"Maybe I'll tie the kids up!" he said, grinning.

"I'll get you the rope!" she said, laughing.

Ugh!
