Summary: Good, but Die-hard fans will frown
Review: This was a tottally awesome book, but I have a question: When does this take place? I have seen every episode, and this book could not take place in the Buffy timeline. It says Buffy is 17, but Angel is still souled (We all know Angel lost his soul on Buffy's 17th birthday.) All right, let's say this book takes place in the future, when Angel got his soul back (far into the future, since it appears Giles doesn't want to kill him and he and Buffy are kissing) What about Xander, Willow, Oz and Cordelia? After Angel lost his soul, Xander and Willow cheated on their respective mates. I seriously doubt that Cordy would forgive Xander and come back to the Scooby Gang. Besides that major flaw, the book is enjoyable and fun.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This was my first book that I read by Golden and Holder and belive me it got me hooked. This is a good book and I reccoment anyone that watches buffy to read it. There has also been a little confusion over the Whole Angel thing. So here's an explanation. In this book Angel was evil, Angel went to hell and Angel came back just like in the series. They never got into the Willow/Xander evil cheating becasue in this book it never happened. They never got into Faith becasue in this book it never happened. Get it? Well I reccomend any more buffy books by Golden and Holder because they are probably the best Buffy writers out there.

Summary: A New Buffy Book, but not a great work of fiction...
Review: This was not a great book, but if you're looking for Buffy material for a quick fix, this will certainly do. While the characters in the television show of the same name have grown and matured, the characters portrayed in this book have not. A disappointing addition to the series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent!!
Review: This was the first book in the series I ever read, and I was very impressed. It focuses mainly on Willow, which I thought was a good idea, and it still manages to focus on the other characters and how they are feeling at the same time. I enjoyed this book a lot!!

Summary: Bloody Good Buffy
Review: This was the title that taught me you can't judge a Buffy book by its cover. Golden and Holder write better here than in many of their supposedly more adult titles.

Willow's emotional vulnerability is preyed upon by the spirit of a powerful Oriental demon, which gains gradually greater possession of her after she is accidentally cut on a ceremonial sword at the museum. Xander similarly becomes possessed by an equally nasty opposing demon, and the two reenact King Kong Vs. Godzilla in Sunnydale. Buffy has her work cut out for her, because she can't stop the clash of the titans without harming her two best friends.

Golden and Holder are in top form here, not diluting their primary plot and briskly keeping the story rolling along. The characters are examined in more mature light than usual. A bit bloody for the younger readers, though tame enough not to worry about. The dialogue crackles with the best kind of wit seen in the series, and there are a few in-jokes the fans will enjoy.

Summary: READ THIS BOOK
Review: This was the very first Buffy book I read, but there have been many more since than. This book had a great story, full of suspence and all the typical Buffy humor/banter. The only thing that slowed it down slightly was all the Chineese/japaneese myth and folklore, whice I found a bit booring at times. But other than that the book was great... A MUST read for Buffy fans...

Summary: Buffy's new enemy is close to her heart.
Review: This was very good. Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder did a great job writing this book! The reason I rated this book only four stars, is because it was kind of slow going, and a tad to bloody.

Also Recomemeded: The rest of the Buffy series

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wow......
Review: This, out of all the Buffy books, was my all-time favorite. Although, it never answered one question for me. How did Angel get out of hell from the second season finale "Becoming"? But the scenes with Xander and Cordy were actually amusing and somewhat comical. I also liked the moments shared between Buffy and Angel. It was even great to explore into the Chinese and Japanese lore too. I'm really interested in history as a whole and it was neat to read about something concerning it in a book, that dealt with my favorite tv show.
