Summary: One heck-of-a roller coaster ride in romance and suspense!
Review: This is one of the best romance/suspense books I have ever read! The relationship between brothers layered on top of the relationship between werewolf and humans, men and women. Very meaty stuff. I had to pull an all nighter to finished! There is a line at my desk waiting to read the book.

Summary: This book made me want to become a warewolf!
Review: I hate to comepare authors, however, Anne Rice couldn't have written a better paranormal story. What an original plot. The detailed emotional descriptions of the non-human species called Loup-Garou made one believe that they might indeed exist. Their superiority over humans along with their fascination and hatred of them created a story so heart wrenching and exciting I could not put the book down for a minute. I stayed up all night reading it. Then bought the sequal the next day (The Promise). This book literally transported me out of reality. If you like paranormal novels, I emphatically recommend this book!!!

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: I am a fan of both romance and the supernatural, and I bought this book on the hope that it would be intresting. I got my socks knocked off. This isoneof the best books I have every read. I didn't want the book to end. I must admit that I feel completly in love with the characters. Especially the two brothers. I cried the last couple of pages.

Summary: Buy several copies. You won't be able to keep one otherwise
Review: This is an incredibly rich and satisfying world. Boy, am I glad I found The Passion just as the next book THE PROMISE is coming out. I don't think I could have waited a whole year for the next one.

Summary: Blown Away! Wow!
Review: It has been a VERY long time since a book has really blown me away and this one did it in a very big way! I took long lunches to read it and raced home from work the last two days so I could finish it. I am thrilled about a sequel and I am already planning on saving it for a Saturday read, sending the husband out for the day, turning the ringer off on the phone and reading it in one sitting. What a thrill to finally find an author again that gets me so excited about a book!

Summary: Comparable to Her Majesty...Anne Rice!
Review: I was very intrigued by the idea of were-wolves, having been a vampire fan for years. Donna Boyd did not let me down. My only "complaint" is the smug superiority complex the loup-garou pack displays continuously. But, I suppose I would feel the same way were I one of them. I anxiously await the next in the series.

Summary: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who loved it!
Review: This is the first book of this genre that I have read and I am hooked!!! I loved this book so much I couldn't put it down and I am reading it for the second time. Ms. Boyd's characters are believable, beautiful, and sensual and I was thirsty for more when the book was finished. I cannot wait to read The Promise!

Summary: A good book for Werewolf literature lovers
Review: The book was very good. I felt that the werewolves were kinda like the rich-folk looking down on the peasants. but some redemption does come around. Like Denis and Tessa. The ending is kinda a downer but if its only a beginning book of a series then I would like to read the rest.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It kept me interested until the end, I will give it that.
Review: The characters were interesting, but I wished the main human character was a little stronger. I was not convinced by the author to have any sympathy for her situation. The werewolves themselves are decent enough, but their criticism of humankind generated a little ill feeling in me towards them also. Overall it is a complete story in itself, but leaves the storyline wide open for a sequel, which I will say I would be inclined to read. It is a good all around interesting horror/fantasy/romance novel.

Summary: The line between man and beast
Review: Werewolf culture has never been explored better than in Donna Boyd's fabulous novel, which illuminates the gulf between the human and the lycanthropic. Young, human Tessa wants to live with the werewolves, and who could blame her. Portrayed here they are charismatic, sensual creatures. But their world can never be hers and what happens to her when she refuses to accept this makes for the most gripping read I've had in a long time. Buy this book -- I guarantee the final chapters will haunt you long after you've finished reading. My only complaint: why couldn't the publisher have given this book a beautiful cover to go with the beautiful story inside??
