Summary: Best book I ever read.
Review: After Maggie escaped from prison she went to a house to work as a governess of two children. One of the two kids was evil.Read this book to find out more about what will happen with Garret and his brother Andrew.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Grusome, Scary, and Suspensful--Stine does it again!
Review: I have read over 56 R.L Stine books, and this is one of the top five books.

Maggie was a suspect of her father's murder; it was simple. They argued before he died, so of course she is going to be the lead suspect. Maggie is sent to jail, and she is supposed to be hanged. "Poor little rich girl!" they all sneer. But a family rescues Maggie, and she goes off to become a governess for a family.

Maggie didn't like the manor from the beginning, but the little boy, Garret, seems evil.

"The Hidden Evil" was great, and I've read it twice! I higly reccomend this if you like scary books. It is pretty grusome, so you're now warned!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very scary but a bit predictable
Review: I liked the book, but I had already guessed the ending even before I picked up the book. Still It kept me up all night. I got to sleep at four in the morning. I read this book while I was staying at my Grandmothers and her guestroom has no television. I stayed up all night sweating bullets, afraid to look in the stupid mirror afraid of seeing the stupid ghost of the angry mother or looking to my left and seeing the evil kid with a knife ready to slice right through me.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of his best!!
Review: I loved it!! It had a plot that kept me reading and wondering what was going to happen to Timothy. The ending added to the excitment of the book. I would recomend it to anybody.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: ooh . . .scary for those of us who hate clowns and evil kids
Review: Maggie was an easy suspect for her father's murder . . . the fact she argued with him before his death . . . her sister's "slips" . . . and of course, the poison found in her room. Sentenced to hang, she learns too late who the real culprit is. Then, a stroke of good luck. A family she once did a good deed for leads her to safety, to work as a governess for a wealthy widower and his two boys. But everything is not so perfect; one child is violent, and the other is sweet, but a little . . . off after his mother's death. When strange things start happening . . . accidents that aren't accidents . . . everyone assumes the villian is Garrett; after all, he did do away with all the governesses before him. But no one, least of all Maggie, finds out the real truth . . . a truth from behind the grave . . .

Great book. Read if the you saw or read Pet Sematary and the little kid who came back from the dead scared the hell out of you . . . or read if you, like me, collect this series.

Some of the books in this series aren't even listed here on Amazon and the one I need is out of print! Grr
