Summary: absolutely incredible: exciting and compelling
Review: I am a lover of Mary Higgins Clark books and ran out of them. In comes Amazon.com with a recomendation of Night Sins -- Yes what a great discovery. Not only have I discovered a fabulous book but a great mystery writer as well. Tthis book grabs you up front and twists and turns its way into an ending that leaves you wanting more. It deals with the difficult subject of Child molestation without weaving you through stuff too uncomfortable to read. The characters are intense and portrayed in a way you either love em or hate em. Well done Tami.. you have a new follower.

Summary: Bad romance disguised as a thriller
Review: Here we go again: Why do all of Tami Hoag's burdensome mysteries swirl around heroines whose careers just won't let them get involved and pushy, sexy guys who can't take no for an answer? Has our culture advanced so little that we still think this kind of relationship is romantic? More to the point: Wouldn't Tami Hoag's heroes give you the creeps in real life? Think about it: You tell a guy you're not interested, and the next thing you know he is showing up in your house uninvited, talking coarsely about how attractive you are. He's a little rough even, maybe pushes you around a bit. And you, the tough-minded, independent career gal, suddenly gets weak in the knees and melts in his arms ... ??!! Get real, Tami Hoag.

Review: This book is great!!! It was the first Tami Hoag that I've ever read. The sex is great, the killer is cunning and remorseless, and Megan finally tells that stupid reporter where to go! I loved the plot that rose and fell. Tami makes you so sure that you know who the killer is, then she doublebacks on you. The answer is a toss-up. I love the suspense of not knowing. Gotta read this book!

Summary: I LOVED IT!!
Review: I am a big Patricia Cornwell fan and have read all of her books; so when I went to the book store, a clerk recommended Tami Hoag. I bought Night Sins and couldn't put it down. I could feel the fear, pain, and passion of the characters because they were so well developed. I'm looking forward to reading Guilty As Sin! Thanks, Tami Hoag, and keep on writing such good novels!

Summary: Gripping and enthralling-couldn't put it down!
Review: Tami Hoag is excellent! Her caaptivating and picturesque details pull the reader in from the start and don't let go until the thrilling conclusion. I actually felt a connection to each and every character. Now that's powerful!!!

Summary: Another winner by Hoag
Review: What happens to a small town when a child is stolen? Deer Lake, Minnesota is about to find out. Tami Hoag's "NIGHT SINS" is a psychological thriller that explores the evil that can live in even the safest of havens.

While eight-year-old Josh Kirkwood waits for his mother to pick him up from hockey practice, a deadly game is set in motion. An icy patch on an otherwise dry road causes a car to spin out of control. Josh's mother, Dr. Hannah Garrison, fights to save the lives of the victims of the crash, unaware her son has just become a pawn in The Game.

Agent Megan O'Malley is the first female field agent in the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Charged with finding Josh Kirkwood and apprehending the abductor, Agent O'Malley must contend with territorial law enforcement officers, bitter cold, and intense media scrutiny. With no clues, no witnesses, and no suspects, O'Malley begins an investigation that unravels the tightly knit community. Nobody is above suspicion. Teachers, priests, neighbors, even the child's father are questioned. Media interference complicates an already volatile situation.

Police Chief Mitch Holt moved to Deer Lake after his wife and son's murder in Miami, looking for a safe haven to raise his daughter. Refusing at first to believe the security of his town has been breached, Holt battles O'Malley for control of the investigation. When Josh's duffel bag is found on the hood of his own vehicle with a taunting note from the kidnapper, Holt realizes the deadly intent of the abductor. He does not, however, realize he has now become a player in The Game.

As a family is torn apart and a town loses its innocence, O'Malley and Holt learn that evil wears many faces. Some of them are just harder to see than others. Read and enjoy! Nina M.

Summary: Trapped in a rubber room with a good view
Review: Unlike some other reviewers, I don't object to the way Tami Hoag ends "Night Sins". When you write vividly enough to describe an unhinged Catholic deacon as "a few beads short of a Rosary," observe that your protagonist has hair "the color of Cherry Coke," and dismiss late-night TV as a haven for infomercials about "spray-on hair," you've earned the right to take chances. Hoag is also quite good at rendering the different kinds of anguish suffered by the parents of an abducted child. But she's too enamored with the inner lives of her cops. We know the cops are attracted to each other and not as tough as they seem because Hoag stresses those points in what must be every third scene. Megan's bluster soon became as cliched for me as the "silky, dangerous voice" and piercing looks favored by Mitch. True love in two weeks. Jeepers! No wonder CBS bought TV rights for this. It's a sure sign of trouble when your favorite character in a story is neither protagonist nor antagonist. Mitch and Megan can have their soap opera. I'd want Natalie, administrative aide to the chief of police, as my neighbor

Summary: full of suspense and drama
Review: I watched the TV Movie first. I was a bit surprised when I realized in order to get the same conclusion I had to read the second book also. But it was worth it. Tami Hoag writes in an awesome suspenseful way. I couldn't put it down.I am going to get "A Thin Dark Line" next. I like books that contine with the same character..ie: Patrica Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta, but I like Tami Hoag's style, so I will continue reading

Summary: Good story, but too long and now forced to buy another book!
Review: Book had a fair story with "red herrings" thrown to the reader that were never picked up by the characters. Too much description and what the characters were thinking and not enough action. I was disappointed that to find out really what happened I need to buy another book. If I had known this in the beginning perhaps I would have bought them both. I will buy the second book just to see if my conclusions are correct or if the author succeded in finding a way to twist the plot
