Summary: Scary and Full of Supernatural.
Review: The original Goosebumps series was full of suspense and events that almost seemed horrifc. However, in the majority of the books things were explained through some natural, rational, or plausible way and then the book ends with a Hitchcockian twist. If CRY OF THE CAT is any indication of what the Goosebumps 2000 holds, then things are a lot more spooky with a lot less rational explantation.The story of CRY OF THE CAT revolves around Alison. Alison is a young girl who is involved in theatre. One afternoon while on her way to play practice, she runs over a cat and kills it. At least she thinks she killed it. When she takes it back to the owners, it comes back to life. The same cat shows up again during play rehearsal and is crushed by a set piece on accident. But the cat comes back again and starts to haunt Alison. The cat, Rip, isn't like other cats and it has a mind of it's own. Spooky story filled with lots of interesting plot twists. Feels more frightening than some of the original Goosebumps.

Review: This book was very good, but I have a complaint.It wasn't scary enough! When I heard this book was supposed to be VERY scary, I of course wanted to check it out. But, being 12 years old, I was expecting something much scarier than how the book really was!

Summary: Excellent start to Goosebumps 2000
Review: This is a great start to "the new millenium of fear". In case you don't know, which is highly unlikly, that is the motto of the new series which is replacing Goosebumps, Goosebumps [Series] 2000. A girl named Allison runs over a cat with her bike. Or at least she THOUGHT she did. When she looked down, the cat's head was still on! That's not the worst of it. Not even close. Allison has brought the cat back to life! It interupts her drama practice. It scares her. She can't turn a corner anymore without first looking for this eerie creature! But now, the cat is thurning ALLISON into a cat! She gobbles three, count 'em, THREE cans of tuna right out of the can! For help, she goes to this girl named Crystal's house. Crystal's house is right in front of the location that Allison had the accident. But what she finds out about Crystal, her mom, and Rip (the cat) is way too scary to tell right now. Review: This story is about a girl name Allison who is drama in school. Well one morning she in a rush to get drama club on her bike. This cat runs out in the street & she doesn't mean to run him over. After that strange things start to happen like after she runs the cat over he gets up live, she latter learns the cats name is RIP. He keeps come after her, and changing her, and Rip never seems to die & wants his revenge I thought this is one of my favorite book I read so far by Stine. And I love the ending of this story wait to you read it. And ever chapter end exciting. I read this book less then one day I could not put it down. It's not super scary but it sure is entertaining & sort of funny.

LATER ON, ALISON KILLS RIP TWO MORE TIMES, RIP GETS SQUASHED, AND IS HEAVED OUT THE WINDOW. IN THE PROCESS, ALISON'S LEG IS DEEPLY WOUNDED. SHE ACTS LIKE A CAT. HER BEST FRIEND, RYAN, GOES WITH HER ON A SEREIES OF DEADLY ADVENTURES INCLUDING THE PET GRAVEYARD, AND FINALLY TO CRYSTAL'S HOUSE. THERE THEY LEARN THE DEADLY TRUTH OF RIP, CRYSTAL, AND HER MOM. THE TRUTH IS SO SCARY, YOU MAY NEVER PET A CAT AGAIN!!!!!!

Review: This was the best Goosebumps book I have ever read in my life! You can never tell when the evil cat is going to attack the main character. Whenever it does, it's a big surprise. Lots of suspense. The big tornado of ghost cats is really awesome. Read the book for yourself and see!

First, When She says something she likes shout. Second, When she fell she did not die when she called her mothere she said she could land on all fours!!!!
