Review: He uses big words and doesn't spell them right! He spends to much time talking about how amazing vampires are. The dialouge is a poor attempt at humor and needless to say it fails miserably. I don't recommend anyone read this unless they want to die of boredom!

Summary: 2nd Book Of A Trilogy (So Far)
Review: The two books I have finished (Night Blood and Dark Blood) are well written and give a different slant on the vampire (or as the books have it vampyre) origins and evolution. I would recommend reading the books in sequence. The author updates the reader if the books are read out of sequence, but this takes away from the story. The recurring setting is Ben Taub Hospital In Houston, where Dr Matt Carter, an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine watches the examination of a vampire's victim brought in by his police friend "Shooter Kowalski." Sound like many other vampire novels? Read On! Both Matt & Shooter become romantically involved. It becomes evident that the killer is in the medical profession. Still familiar? Ok, War & Peace it Ain't
but it has some nice twists. The vampire is even looking for a cure!

Book two, Dark Blood shifts to New Orleans where the original Vampire has fled. Enter a vampire who is badder than bad. Of course Matt Carter gets involved. Very entertaining books. Good Read at least so far.

Summary: Unimaginative and Boring
Review: This is a very unsatisfying, trite, and stereotype book. The 'Normals' or humans in the story are so poorly portrayed, that not even one of the is close to likable. The dialog is cheesy at best and even though you hope it's going to get better, it never does.

Okay, so you have another Vampire who's trying to undo what's been done to him a long time ago. He finds jobs as a doctor at clinics so he can continue his research with hope that one day he'll become human again. How many times are we going to have to go through this? You'd think by now authors could come up with an original idea once in a while.
