Summary: I'd give it ZERO stars if I could
Review: After buying Cinnamon, I swore I would never buy another stupid minibook ever again. Well, one night I was in the grocery store and, for reasons unknown to even myself, I wound up tossing this little thing in my shopping cart. Thankfully, this was the book that cured me of ever buying another V.C. book again without reading some excerpts first. There aren't words to describe how horrendous this book was. I couldn't even finish it. I wound up skimming to the end to see what traumatizing event would afflict Ice. It's a shame, because Ice's story had promise. I bet the real V.C. Andrews would've made a wonderful full-length novel (for adults, no less) out of it. Sadly, that can never happen. Unless you are under the age of 13, I'd advise you to skip this tired mess.

Summary: Good book
Review: After reading Cinnemon I was expecting more and was horribly dissapointed. The entire book is full of cliche's and not very interesting at all. Ice's mother is so stereotypical it's not even funny.

Ice is the same story as most of the ghostwriter books. Her father loves her, her mother's miserable and controlling, she has a boy who loves her uncondionally, everyone at school hates her, and she has a phenomenal talent in something artistic. it's just the same as almost every other miniseries novel.

Summary: BLA(...)AH(...)H!!(...)!
Review: Bo(...)rrrringgg!! This is the dullest, most pointless, most boring ghost writer book EVER, and that is saying alot. Ice starts out like an intriguing character (an amazing singer who has trouble speaking in anything but song), but she just turns out to be the same old GW character regurgitated and recycled throughout all the GW series'. We are constantly TOLD that Ice is a shy, quiet girl but there is little evidence of this in the story. Instead she reacts to situations the same way these characters always do. And the story!! The first HALF of this book is spent going over the excruciatingly boring details of Ice's forced makeover so she can go on some stuped date on which nothing happens anyway, and the last half is (finally) huriedly spent on some vocal lessons Ice takes with some boy. Her family is not horrifying or bazaarly secritive (unless you consider mediocrity horrifying), Ice's character is never developed and NOTHING EVER HAPPENS!! Why are these books still being pedalled as horror? Don't even bother reading this one.

Summary: Draws you in...
Review: But you can tell it's a GW. Ice surpised me, I was expecting a usual pattern theory book or something more bubble gummy like the other mini-series books... but Ice has a voice. Her story drew me in, made we want to read the final novel, the one hopefully the girls will get together in. Unlike the earlier series this series seems to revolve more around the outside issues in a girl's life. More about their families and their relationships than the boring teenage tribulations of life. It was still too short and I would have much rather had a full book, but I shall wait, and hope for Rose to be just as good.

Summary: One of the most boring book of vc andrews!!!
Review: I could not get into the book, it was so boring. It's took me a long time before finishing it and it's just a small book. Ice is kind of like Dawn but the serie of Dawn is much better then Ice. Ice is a poor beautiful girl who get bully at school, (Déjas vu) but she have a beautiful voice who will make her get out of her dump, she will be SOMEONE!!! So cliché, very boring, the GW writer start to get very boring, it's not like the read vc andrews book, who were very interesting.

Summary: a fine book
Review: i don't see that this book is a bad one , in fact i find it much nicer than cinnamon which was a little bit silly about the spirits thing...ice is a very touching story, the only drawback i think was that it's short.

Summary: Ice
Review: I thought, even though these books are nothing like the older stuff, that this was a pretty good book. I wish they would go back to the old style and make the books longer and as captivating as they used to be. These new books seem like they are trying to reach a younger crowd. But other than that I thought Ice was very good and can hardly wait for the next book. I am a loyal V.C fan and will always be!

Summary: The second book in the SHooting Stars Series
Review: I was very wary on reading this book as a result of all the negative reviews. But scrolling down to some of the more earlier ones I realized that I should give it a chance and I wasn't really disappointed. Ice is an entertaining novel to the series that deserves 3 or 4 stars (since I like the series so much I gave it the benefit of the doubt and gave the book 4 stars instead of 3). Ice tells the story about a shy teenager named Ice. When Ice is very young her school psychologist gives her the label elective mute because it seems like she chooses never to speak and in so many ways that is true. At 17, she lives with her narcissistic mother and her silent father and very rarely talks herself. The only time she ever really opens her mouth is to sing in her church choir or sing old jazz tunes to her father. Her voice is so beautiful that she finds she may have the chance to change her life forever, but not if her mother has her way. If you enjoy VC Andrews mini-series I recommend you read this. I can't wait to read the next books in the series (the 3rd being Honey). Enjoy!
