Rating: Summary: Very good! One of my favorite books! Review: Bravo!!! This book would make a very good motion picture. The author should sell it to 20th Century Fox or Paramount or some other cool production company. I can just see some top of the line actors playing the roles. The book had well-developed characters, settings, and a very good plot. The great makings of a movie. I can't wait to read some other books by this author.
Rating: Summary: Richie's "Scaredya!" trademark Review: By now, if anyone's following my reviews and advice and actually reading the books I recommend, you'll know that Richie is an expert at making you not put down her book. Then she scares you half to death, and it's actually fun. Her trademark "God I'm so scared but I'll be brave and find the killer" heroine is here, and the mysterious cute guy (THE reason to read Richie's stuff, girls!), and the killer whom everyone thinks is the cute guy but is in actual fact...
Rating: Summary: Wicked Good Book! Review: Everything about this novel made it a winner. The plot was believable, but just crazy enough to scare the hell out of you! Lance was a definetly creepy character, and yet engaging in a way. The ending was wonderful, and I really liked the main characters. ( Note to Juniper: Richie T. Cusick is a woman, not a man. Read the author's page, for God's sake!)
Rating: Summary: Creepy Review: Hannah and Meg are stranded in their house in the backwoods. As a storm comes in they lose power, right before they do though a news bulletin warns of a criminal escape. Two strangers show up at the door and soon odd things start to happen. This story is a step above R. L. Stines easy thrills and much more involved. Horror fans will enjoy and find that the suspense is right on key.
Rating: Summary: My Favorite Book To Date!..... Review: Hannah and Meg live miles from the nearest neighbor. There is a big snowstorm on its way, and they've heard that if the power is to go out, it can take weeks to restore it! Still, they aren't worried about being home alone until their parents call to tell them that they're snowed-in at the airport. The call from their parents and the news brief that an escaped killer is headed in their direction is the last two things they hear before the electricity goes out. Then, in the middle of the night, the two sisters get a knock on their door! Two wounded, half-frozen strangers stand in their doorway, asking to stay the night. Of course (for protection, according to them), they refuse to leave in the morning, and strange things occur. The dog disappears, along with their axe, and the girls realize they don't know the guys at all!I thought that "Someone at the Door" was unbelievable! Richie Tankersley Cusick (one of the best horror writers out there) concocts a story full of mystery and horror. The scenery adds to the suspense; two girls, miles away from anyone, helpless. The events were thrilling and surprising, and the ending was shocking. A must-read for all horror fans! Also recommended: a.) "Starstruck" by Richie Tankersley Cusick b.) "Vampire" by Richie Tankersley Cusick c.) "Secret Santa" by D. E. Athkins d.) "The Invitation" by Diane Hoh e.) "The Train" by Diane Hoh f.) All R. L. Stine young-adult thrillers g.) All books by Joan Lowery Nixon
Rating: Summary: Someone at the Door Review: Hannah thought her life was going bad. The power was dead. Her parents were out of town. There was a horrible storm, and to top it off, there was a mass murderer on the loose. Everything changed from bad to worse with the presence of two injured strangers: Jonathon and Lance. The uninvited guests promised to stay only for the night, but as the storm worsened, the two boys decided to stay a little longer, but only for the protection of Hannah and her sister, Meg. THEN, the dog and the axe disappeared, yet Jonathon and Lance denyed taking either item. The girls can't help but wonder, could someone want them dead? And if so, whom?
Rating: Summary: LOOOOOOOVE IT! Review: I absolutley love this book! I read it like 100 times! I can't believe it is that good! I think they should make it a movie!
Rating: Summary: Will Chill You to the Bone Review: I first read this book when I was in sixth grade. Almost eight years later, I still love it. It keeps your heart pumping and your mind calculating every possible "clue". Mystery, Horror and a dash of romance. Its a great read.
Rating: Summary: Way Cool!!!! Review: I guess it was kind of ironic at the time I decided to read this book. Which was in December and winter and snowing by me. So it was really the right environment. Which made the horror all the more real. Really good suspense. It just seemed so realistic. I could picture all of the images happening in my head. Really really great.
