Rating: Summary: Scary Tales of Terror Review: The wonderful book, When Nobody's Home by Judith Gorog, is fifteen baby-sitting tales of terror. This book is very suspenseful and informative. There are fifteen different terrifying stories about what can happen when nobody else is home, and the baby-sitter is the adult, because the parents are not at home. I recommend this book because the reader can learn a lot from reading it. This book is about baby-sitting alone at night with younger kids who are very weird. Another noteworthy point about the book is that this is a very mysterious story. This book shows that being in someone else's house can be really scary. It also shows that especially at night-time it can be more terrifying then anyone can imagine. For example, when Sasha first arrives at the twins home it is raining and their parents leave. Sasha lets them go outside. Then the phone rings when the twins are outside. Sasha goes inside to answer the phone. When she returns outside the twins are gone!!! Suspense like this continues throughout the book. Another reason to read this book is that the characters are completely different from each other in interesting ways. One of the characters uncovers a story with a deadly ending. June is snoopy, Lupe is greedy, Sasha is easily scared. These are some of the reason why I would recommend this book. One reason this book isn't perfect is because in this story there are fifteen different characters who have their own points of view about the horrifying things that can happen when nobody's home. But this is what makes the story mysterious and suspenseful. This book is a really interesting story that gives its readers a lot to think about during the story.
Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing Review: This book was very disapointing. When I got it I thought it will be so good but in fact it's boring and weird and not at all scary! Trust me, it's not as good as it appears to be!
