Review: I loved James. Reading this book made me VERY jealous of Poppy (How come real guys can't be like him?). This book was among my top favorite books and was a great way to start off the Nightworld series. If anyone else is a big L.J.Smith fan like me I would love to chat about any of her Night World or other(The Forbidden Game, etc.) books.

Review: I loved eveything about this story! Lisa Jane Smith really knows how to write stories to get her readers hooked. I've known people who have never read anything but a mandatory books in school that couldn't stop reading this book once they started. And can you say descriptive I love the characters James and Poppy, I feel as if I know them.

Review: I loved this book, it was the first one I read and it got me hooked!! Poppy was cool and so was James. I'm probably the only person who didn't think Ash was evil the first time I read it. The book kept me sort of guessing, and the ending had an unexpected twist. I read this book over and over.

Review: This book will absolutely hook you to the other nightworld books. you get caught up in the story, and it's amazing. This is my fave book out of all of them though, i've read them all cept for strange fate (((which i hope comes out soon))) it has everything...romance horror and suspence..what more do you want

Review: I liked this book but it's not as good as the ones that follow it. I liked the romance between Poppy and James, but they shouldn't have put Phil in there as much. It would have been much more interesting if Poppy had been caught by Thierry.

Review: I have read all of L.J. Smith's Night World series, except for Strange Fate. So far, Secret Vanpire is the best. It made me hooked. That's why L.J. Smith is a great author. When you read just one of her books, your hooked. Now that's my kind of author!

Review: OWWWW!!!James is sooo hot!!!!This book is my absolute FAVORITE!!!I became completely obsessed with the NW series after this book. It was perfect-i can only hope that we can read about james and poppy as well as the other soulmates later. LJSmith is brilliant-i love the soulmate principle, and can't wait to read her latest book-Strange Fate!!!!!!
