Rating: Summary: What Happened to Christopher Pike???? Review: I read this book back when it first came out. I have read all of his books even though I am 22. I recently reread it and discovered it was suppose to be a series. Where did Christopher Pike go? What happened to the rest of the series? Why did he stop writing? If anyone knows please fill me in. The book is very good though. But if you dont want to get stuck wanting the rest of the books then dont read.
Rating: Summary: Profound, catching Review: I really liked this book, it's great. I didn't really like the ending because it wasn't very good, but I suppose it's got to be like that for the second book. PS..DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE SECOND PART, "SEEDLING", IS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT AND WHERE TO GET IT??????
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK! Review: I really liked this book. I could hardly put it down!! It starts off great, ends up great, and I can hardly wait for the sequel!!
Rating: Summary: One of your best Pike! Review: I thought that this book was one of the most interesting and suspensful novels by Pike! It was the first novel I have read by him and it shocked me even more than his young adult books. Not only does he still write with incredible genius, but he still conveys terror and suspense thourgout the whole book! I can't wait for the sequel. This is a definate must read for Pike's true fans!!!
Rating: Summary: haunting Review: I thought this book was pure genius, as I have thought of his many other books. I have read all of his books, and I wish he would write more, even though I know it is hard to think of plots as great as the plots Mr.Pike writes. I started reading his books in sixth grade, and now I am 13. I haven't gotten sick of them yet, and now I'm moving up to his adult books. Like The COld One, I liked Mr. Pike's detailed descriptions of the Indian concepts of life, and so forth. I understood the story much better. ANywayz, when is the sequel coming out??? I can't wait to read it!!! BUh-bye
Rating: Summary: A THILLING & CAPTIVATING READ Review: i thought this book was the best that ive read from this author to date. like many of the other reviewers im a bit excited about the sequel but i am upet about it too. if anyone knows where i can get it please e mail me Roqui@prodigy.net. also id like to know what happened to the blind mirror, i waited and waited for it to come out now it says its out of print. i am an absolute fan and i love the way Pikes work has matured over the years, ive read him for since last act first came out. althought i am in my mid twenties i still enjoy his work (except spooksville, i havent read any of them). i havent missed a book yet but i am starting to get upset at how im not often able to get the books when then back covers tell me they will be ready, but thats only because i love his work so much.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME BOOK Review: I [] LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I never wanted to put it down. Where is the sequal though? The only part that kinda was boring was all the Hindu stuff. Other than that read this book. Even if you're not a Pike fan. It's soooo good.
Rating: Summary: "One Of Pike's Best' Review: I'm only 13 and I started reading Pike's books for young adults about 1/2 year ago. I've read almost all his books now. This book took me 2 hours to finish. I couldn't put it down. If you like Pike's books, you have to read this one. Other good books by Pike are: Sati; Season Of Passage; The Listeners; Fall Into Darkness; Remember Me 1, 2, and 3; and Final Friends 1,2,and 3. PS. Does anyone know when "The Cold One 2: Seedling" is suppose to come out?
Rating: Summary: Another winner, Mr. Pike! Review: I've been a fan of him for over a year and he has yet to dissapoint. The Cold One was an excellent piece of material and a can't-put-it-down read-it-all-night thriller! I highly reccogmend it!
Rating: Summary: The most thrilling Pike book that I have ever read! Review: I've been a loyal Pike fan for a long while now. I've read most of his books that fall under the catagory of young adult. Then I come across this, and I have to say that Pike does a great job in the adult area! Pike seems to create separate events with different characters, and then slowly he starts to tie them together. The characters all start to meet one another, while the readers get to know the Cold One, a mysterious being that we slowly get to understand. Then Pike starts to reveal little details that starts to paint a picture for readers that reveals the entire story. Trust me, you're going to love it. It's different from his YA books, mostly because of the language and the gory violence, but it's filled with action and sure to build tension from chapter to chapter. Pike doesn't hold back. I can't wait until the sequel, The Cold One 2: Seedling, comes out. I'm still waiting.
