Summary: Maybe not up to par?
Review: I have read nearly all of Pike's novels, adult or young adult. I can see why many may see this as the most remarkable of his, yet only if it's the first adult novel of his that you've read. The Season Of Passage is by far the most starkly original, scary, entertaining, suspencefull, chilling novel of Pike's. The Listeners (another adult novel) was quite dissapointing. Don't get me wrong, Pike is fantastic, however I found two out of the three adult novels that I know of that he wrote to be lacking (i.e. The Listeners and The Cold One)

Summary: Amazing, as always
Review: I have read this book three times now and I'm still loving it. Christopher Pike is the best writer to date. His books are intricate and suspenceful. It enters your mind and never leaves. Everyone, read all of Christopher Pike's books. He IS the BEST.

Summary: Awesome Book of Intrigue & Eastern Thought, Great Story
Review: I love the plot and the characters, and I have read this book many times. However, in the back of the book I have, which was one of the first editions printed, it says that Pike's next book will be Blind Mirror, and this was back in 1995, so no wonder no one has seen the sequel to The Cold One, which was to be called The Cold One II: Seedling. It seems as if Mr. Pike has been writing Blind Mirror for some time, and he may never publish The Cold One II: Seedling, which would be very sad. However, this is an awesome book, and worth reading 100%!!!!!

Summary: this book is very good, but the part about India confused me
Review: I loved the book and it is great for people who like to be disturbed, but I really didn't like the section on RAK and I skipped over it because it did not seem to fit into the story.

Summary: The Cold One is a must-read
Review: I loved The Cold One from the very first time I read. One thing bothers me though: When is The Cold One II: Seedling coming out? I noticed that The Blind Mirror was set to be released first, even though The Cold One came out in 1994 or 1995. I look forward to reading The Blind Mirror but I would like to at least get a hint as to when Cold One II will appear. If anyone knows please fill me in.

Summary: THE book to own!
Review: I own over 40 of Pike's books, not including the Spooksville series, and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorites! Mr.Pike took mystery, some violence, conflict, developed characters, and an excellent plot, and ended up with The Cold One. I've never read anything like it before in my entire life, and I have read a lot of books. It keeps you guessing about how it's going to end throughout. The Cold One has a great beginning, middle, and end. This is an excellent book, and I recommend it to anyone over the age of around 13, because there is some gore. The ending leaves you satisfied about the mystery of The Cold One, but desperate to find out what happens is The Cold One 2: Seedling. Definetely a book to own.

Summary: Prrrreeety Good Pike
Review: I read TCO, being a HUGE fan of his. I read really slowly, but this book i flew by. I hated the ending, i felt that there shouldnt be another one, oh well, ill still read it, i mean how could i resist any of Pikes books. Its not for the young fans though

Summary: I love this book!
Review: I read this book as soon as it came out which was a looooong time ago. I loved it (though Season of Passage is by far the best book I've ever read), but I've been waiting ever since (ie. YEARS!!) for the sequel!!! Where is it??
